If I knew you in person, I would do all I could to convince you NEVER to go to Michael's Furniture. Michael and his salesman are absolute liars and bullies. They're friendly as can be, as long as nothing goes wrong. But as soon as there is a problem—especially if they make a mistake—the outright lies, hostility and bullying come out.
The long and short of it is that the salesman lied to us, we fell for it, and the owner refused to do anything about it and got downright nasty. We were told a specific sofa would be perfect for us with our pets, and that even if we did have problems we could return it. Not only did we have problems immediately, but Michael denied everything and refused to take the furniture back. He got so ugly that at one point he was calling my husband names and making threats against us. All for a lousy $959. Well you know what, we certainly got what we paid for. We got a "great deal" on terrible furniture and even worse, abhorrent customer service. No one, and I mean no one, should ever by treated that way by someone they're doing business with. So if you're in the market for furniture, I say run the other way, run far away. Or at the very least, do your research. Not even just online, but talk to your neighbors. You won't believe how many other people have had similar, terrible experiences with Michael. It's shameful. I wish I had known before giving him my business.
