We were impressed with the knowledge and integrity of the salesman. The problem is with the prices and the store policy. We ended up spending far more money than planned. When the first mattress proved unacceptable after breaking it in and using it for 30 days, our ONLY option was an exchange of equal or more cost. The best choice we could find cost an additional $850!! We are very angry to be backed into a corner! We are very angry to not have the option of a refund! If we are not happy with the mattress we exchanged for, WE ARE STUCK! This is a horrible policy that does not assure customer satisfaction in a very expensive purchase! The Mattress Store policy is designed only to make the store owners' money. It is NOT designed to assure a happy, customer. This is buyers remorse in the most excruciating way. Do not even enter The Mattress Store. Do not buy a mattress from any store that does not offer a full refund if you are not completely satisfied!

Gary. Im Sorry for the issues. I did check your invoices and I see that you purchased a Sealy Hybrid Firm king mattress and exchanged it for a split King S&F Plush Pillow top Mattresses. Both Sets were discounted to meet your needs.
We do stand by our policy for exchange only and do our best to help our customers sleep better. I hope your enjoying the new mattresses.

I do not believe you are actually sorry! The policies of The Mattress Store and many other mattress retailers are designed only to make money, not to do what is best for and assure the well being of consumers! Nothing but a full refund will change my perception of your values.
