We went to purchase a mattress based on their 1 year to try out a mattress. My husband is an athlete and his bed and posture are a priority to us. So we test them out in a showroom. We finally settle on their most expensive model the Tempurpedic. Told it has the greatest customer satisfaction. And a hefty price tag. Ok quality and sleep quality are most important to us so we spring for it…being promised if we aren’t satisfied we have up to a year to exchange it. Ok sounds like a good insurance policy for a $5000 purchase. A chance to test drive. This was not the bed for us! After a week we were both so stiff and sore we could hardly move. Go in and out sale rep sees us come in and hides in the back for the time we are there. Another Salesman says we must call customer service. We are told that we can exchange. We finally settle on a firmer classic coil pillow top style mattress. Half the price! Then we are told we will have to pay another processing and delivery fee and there will be no refund or credit for the price difference. We were shocked! Not even store credit?? So we are paying 2x what we could have paid for the same mattress?? We were furious.
Go to Costco! We were told we can purchase any mattress or even order online and you have a lifetime to return for full refund if unsatisfied. What a mistake coming to Mathis Bros. Will never purchase another item from these crooks.
