I bought a mattress that was more money than I could really afford, and was assured by the sales associate that I could exchange it "no problem" if I had any issues with the mattress. I slept on the mattress, and woke up in pain for several nights in a row. I called customer service to explain the situation and begin the process of exchanging the mattress. I was told I would have to pay an additional $200.00 to exchange the mattress. When I explained to a supervisor I had already overextended myself financially and the sales associate had not been forthcoming with me about the fact that there was a cost associated with exchanging the mattress she kept repeating in a disinterested, irritable tone "There's nothing we can do". Will never buy anything from Macy's again.
