August of 2017, I purchased a Forever Bed – Balance – after carefully weighing my options and believing the salesman about the quality of the bed. I have a bed frame that is old school. Headboard, footboard, side rails and slats made of wood. The center rail is an iron beam. I have had about a week of good sleep on this mattress. About a month after I got the bed I noticed I was sleeping in a sunken spot, I turned the mattress. All was good for two nights. About a month later, same thing…sunken. So, I flipped, again the same thing. I turned the mattress and it happened again. I had slept on all 4 edges of the bed and it was totally sunk in after 4 months. I got out a 6 ft level and measured a 1” sag. I filed a “warranty claim” and they replaced my mattress and box springs with a new mattress and a plain wood foundation. The same thing happened with the new mattress…after one month I had a 1” sag. But this time I didn’t wait to put in a claim. They have yet to respond except to tell me to turn it and flip it. I cannot tell you what a horrible mattress this is. I do not have the strength to turn my mattress every 2 days and flip it and turn it. And then get it replaced every month. That is not cost effective. This is not a forever bed.
