I spent 1,400.00 on a table that was supposed to come in a box, I purchased on 11/09 and was told the table and chairs would be brand new in the box and available for pick up on 11/15, I wanted to ensure they were going to be boxed as I was putting in a storage unit. Called the store on Tuesday the 16th to learn that the table was not yet available and was told it would be there on Friday the 19th. Contacted Hoffmans yesterday and our table was able to be picked up. Sent my boyfriend to the store for pick up, the table was put together!!!!!! NOT IN A BOX, I reached out to my salesperson Kim W, at 4:57 p.m. she was with a client and has yet to return the call back to me. at 5:15 yesterday I contacted the store manager and explained my concerns to David, he stated that he believes I picked up the store model , that it should've been written on my ticket as they did not have any of those tables on order or to be delivered. WHAT?????? The table was there the ENTIRE TIME, My SALES TICKET DOES NOT STATE I PURCHASED THE FLOOR MODEL, I GOT PLAYED! So David said he was going to call the owner and would call me before the store closing at 2:00 today. So I called David at 1:30 to confirm I was going to hear back from him today he assured me he was going to have an answer from the owner. So here are my options $40.00 returned for them selling me the floor model without my knowledge, and for the item not being boxed, I can come back and shop with them for a new table, or I can just return the item all together. I said sorry, $40.00 is not worth the floor model and being lied to and I will just post a negative review. I'm not returning the table, and I'm not shopping their store in the future for purchases. They used to be my go to and now I will need to find a new place.
