Good Sales Person / Uncooperative Delivery People

Gustavo was excellent in spending time with us, explaining different options etc. No pressure to buy. Bought a consumer report recommended best buy hybrid mattress and frame for our guest bedroom.

The delivery was verified the night before, the crew showed up on time, they were courteous and efficient. HOWEVER, the lead guy was in a hurry to get it down and get out as quickly as possible. I asked him to disconnect the headboad from the bed frame and he said they do not carry any tools in the truck. I asked what he needed and he say two pairs of pliers. I provided those and he reluctantly detachedd the headboard from the frame.

We ordered an electronic adjustable bedframe. The guy did not want to adjust the height for me even though the sales person had stressed not to let them go without doing that. The delivery guy said that the sales people don't know what they are talking about. My husband had measured the height to the top of the mattress and it was 26 inches. The delivery guy had all the three inch long segments to set the frame at different heights, he just did not want to do that but I made him do it. He wanted to set the frame at six inches high. I made him use all the three inch segments so the frame was adjusted to 15 inches high. It took to only five minutes. I don't know why he made it so difficult to get him to do this. He said " well, I am putting these on for you just once, I am not going to adjust the height again." I felt like the guy was being paid by the delivery and I was delaying him by insisting he do his assembly job correctly.
