If you are considering purchasing bedding from City Mattress, please consider the height of the box and mattress as seen in the store. We purchased a king-size Simmons set which sat very high off the ground in the Jensen Beach store. There's no way to know if it will be that high on your own bed frame. After spending just short of $5,000, the bed sat so high with the standard box spring that both my husband were uncomfortable climbing on and off it. (Note: we are not short people....5' 7" and 6' 5".) We contacted our salesperson to get an exchange for a shorter box spring which has been accomplished. Our mattress goal, as explained to our salesperson, was comfort for my back (I have scoliosis) and I expressed I did not want a mattress where I felt like I was rolling towards my husband's side. I have to say my comfort level seems good, but my husband wakes up with a back ache every day (no prior history of back issues). And because of his height and weight, if he is anywhere near the center of the bed, I do not feel like I am lying level, but rather rolling towards his side.
Because we made the box spring exchange, that was considered to be our "one-time" comfort exchange. I have e-mailed our salesperson on two occasions to see if there is anything at all they can do for us, however, I get no reply.
