I have purchased a couple of appliances, and had planned on more, from BJ Stevens In the last two years. The Maytag upright freezer I purchased from them suddenly stopped cooling properly during the weekend. I called first thing Monday morning and was told Brian would call me. Morning turned to afternoon and my food was thawing, no call. I called and left a message, no call back. I called again and Barron(? not Barry) and was told Brian should have called me so expressed the urgency of the situation. No call from Brian at all on Monday. Tuesday morning I called as soon as they were open, “Brian should have called you. I told him. He has court today though.” My reply was “thank you, I’ll take my business elsewhere.”
All it would have taken to satisfy a desperate customer in need was a phone call back to let me know something, anything, on whether they could help me with an appliance I purchased from them that is only two years old. I’ll be buying my new washer and dryer, and anything else I need, elsewhere from now on.
