- Want a medium-firm mattress (i.e., just a little firmer than average)
- Are either a stomach or back sleeper
- Prefer no 'memory feel' in your mattress
- Enjoy sleeping more 'on' your mattress than 'in' it
- Would like a mattress that performs very well when used with an adjustable base
NOT IDEAL if you
- Are a side sleeper (though this mattress can be good for side sleepers who prioritize firm support over extra pressure relief)
- Like a fair bit of bounce in your mattress
- Frequently sit or sleep along the edge of your bed (edge support isn't the best, but is still pretty good)
- Have a strong tendency to sleep hot (temperature regulation is pretty good, but not the best)

Yes, the T&N Original mattress is adjustable base compatible. This means it is designed to be used on an adjustable base without incurring damage or voiding the warranty. In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the T&N Original to have very good adjustable base compatibility.
