GoodBed Expert Review
Our Take on Tuft & Needle Hybrid

Founder of GoodBed, Leading Mattress Expert
- Want a medium-soft mattress (i.e., just a little softer than average)
- Are either a back or side sleeper, especially if you weigh 200 lb or less
- Are easily disturbed by other movements in the bed (motion isolation is excellent)
- Often sit or sleep along the edge of your bed (edge support is very good)
- Want a mattress that helps you stay cool while you sleep
- Would like a mattress with excellent adjustable base compatibility
- Enjoy sleeping just a bit more 'in' your mattress than 'on' it
- Prefer a slightly above average amount of 'memory feel'
- Are a stomach sleeper, especially if you weigh more than 250 lb
- Have concerns about being able to move or rotate a heavier mattress
- Want a natural or organic mattress (though this mattress is still pretty good in terms of avoiding harmful chemicals)

Yes, the Tuft & Needle Hybrid mattress is adjustable base compatible. This means it is designed to be used on an adjustable base without incurring damage or voiding the warranty. In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the T&N Hybrid to have excellent adjustable base compatibility.
