- Want a mattress with a medium amount of softness
- Are either a side or back sleeper, especially if you weigh 200 lb or less
- Are seeking a mattress with excellent materials and construction
- Often sit or sleep along the edge of your bed (edge support is very good)
- Can sometimes be disturbed by other movements in the bed (motion isolation is very good)
- Prefer an above average amount of 'memory feel'
NOT IDEAL if you
- Are a stomach sleeper, especially if you weigh more than 250 lb
- Want a natural or organic mattress (though this mattress is still OK in terms of avoiding harmful chemicals)

In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the Immerse to have very good adjustable base compatibility.
