- Want a medium-firm mattress (i.e., just a little firmer than average)
- Are either a back or stomach sleeper
- Would like a mattress that performs very well when used with an adjustable base
- Enjoy sleeping 'on' your mattress while being just a little hugged or cradled
- Like just enough bounce that your mattress doesn't feel completely 'dead'
- Prefer a slightly below average amount of 'memory feel'
NOT IDEAL if you
- Are a side sleeper (though this mattress can be good for side sleepers who prioritize firm support over extra pressure relief)
- Have a strong tendency to sleep hot (temperature regulation is OK, but not the best)

In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the One to have very good adjustable base compatibility.
