BEST if you
- Want a medium-firm mattress (i.e., just a little firmer than average)
- Are mainly a back sleeper
- Regularly sit or sleep along the edge of your bed (edge support is excellent)
- Would like a mattress that performs very well when used with an adjustable base
- Enjoy a happy medium between sleeping 'on' your mattress versus 'in' it
- Prefer an average amount of 'memory feel'
NOT IDEAL if you
- Weigh 225 lb or more, especially if you sleep on your stomach
- Don't like much bounce in your mattress
- Have a strong tendency to sleep hot (temperature regulation is pretty good, but not the best)
- Want a natural or organic mattress (though this mattress is still OK in terms of avoiding harmful chemicals)

In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the Dream to have very good adjustable base compatibility.
