- General Features: This quilt comes complete with 1 inch of comfort foam - a foam that adds a disctinctly plush and cloudlike feel to your bed. A second comfort layer is comprised of 3 pound Viscoelastic Memory foam - or NASA memory foam. Memory foam reacts to your body's temperature and softens where you need the deepest pressure relief, like your hips, lower back, and shoulders. An additional comfort layer of comfort foam provides support and cushion along the entire length of your body for proper postural sleep alignment. A poly-fiber composite layer above and below the innerspring unit transitions and softens the feel between the spring coils and the comfort foam layers so you feel gently supported along your entire body length when sleeping. The entire innerspring unit is surrounded on all four sides by a 3" wall of foam encasement - extending your sleep surface between ten and twenty percent - directly to the edge of the bed. Foam encasement provides support at the edge of the mattress at the outer rows of springs.
