Ok so I just woke up after my first nights sleep on my new hybrid Therapedic Backsense mattress. And it was was morning!!! I can’t believe I waited so long to replace our 10 year old Sterns and Foster inner spring mattress!! My husband and I were getting terrible sleep for so long, I didn’t realize it was due to having such a terrible mattress. He got in bed last night after me, and it didn’t even wake me up! With the old mattress the bed bounced so much each time either of us moved or adjusted covers. It was so annoying! I already don’t have any hip pain this morning! It’d been months!!!! Love the fact this mattress is flippable, too. I will try to remember to come back here after a year or so to follow up with another review.
This king mattress sags on both sides where we sleep. There is a hump in the middle between us that we have to roll up hill to get over. It is like sleeping in an uncomfortable hammock. The foundation is two pieces and the edges are padded and wrapped in fabric. The wrapping on the two edges that touch raises the center of the mattress causing the hump in the middle. The outside edges of the foundation are also padded and wrapped causing a smaller hump on each edge. Everthing I have read about foam/spring mattresses says the foundation should be flat like a platform. Therapedic says that “some” sagging is normal and that we have the rught foundation. Perhaps upper management should spend the night sleeping on this mattress. We purchased the mattress from Kanes who just referred us to Temperpedic. By the way, we are in Florida for 3-4 months in the winter so have not even slept on the mattress for what is equivalent to one year. NEVER purchase a Temperpedic mattress.

The first six months I had this mattress, I thought it was the best mattress I'd ever purchased! However it slowly started sinking in the middle and exactly after 11 months the entire middle sunk in about 5 inches. The warranty is an absolute joke. They require you to mail the mattress back at your expense just for an inspection before they will even tell you if they can help at all. And since I now live out of state it would cost more to ship the mattress back than to buy a new mattress. The warranty person named Chris acted like he couldn't care less about helping me in any way shape or form.
I rented a place for 10 nights that had this mattress and it was delightful. Once I hit the bed I don't think I moved all night! Next time I'm ready to buy a mattress I will definitely look into this one.

Me & my wife woke up feeling like a million bucks, I've had lower back pains for the past week due to my old mattres, I couldn't sleep with my wife cuz of the back pains my old mattress would leave me with,today me & my wife woke up well rested and that lower back pain I mentioned is gone, thanks therapeutic
Developed two craters within 6 months where my husband and I sleep. We are both early 30's and wake up with hip and back pin that we've never experienced before sleeping on this terrible mattress. What a giant waste of money. The mattress is also terribly hot and makes you wake up sweating.
Store where I bought mattress went out of business, so I contacted the manufacturer directly. Over a 10 month period of me calling every few weeks only ONCE was my call returned. Deal offered for replacement was about the same as buying a new mattress from someone else, which is what I eventually did. Don't buy these products!
