Only have had this mattress for 6 months, but couldn't be happier. Love the comfort, spent a lot of time trying to decide, wished I would have bought it earlier. It has been so comfortable.
This mattress and boxspring set is terrible. I am 6', 160 lbs. By the first year the mattress had sunk in and is completely uncomfortable. By the second year it's worse. We've had this bed about 2.5 years. When the bed is made you can see the depressions. There is no support. When it's made one would think it must be an old mattress. I am extremely disappointed. We had to purchase a new mattress set. We purchased a Beautyrest firm pillowtop. Don't buy Tommy Bahama beds.
Standard king size bed is 76" x 80" however a technician came out and measured it 75" x 77". This looks so tacky inside a well constructed king size frame. End result, this is actual size of their mattress. When making items that come in a standard size you don't skimp on the measurements. Don't sell a "king size" mattress that isn't even close to king size dimensions. I slept on a therapedic hybrid previously and loved it. Sizing was accurate also. But this junk is poorly made. Just goes to show the laziness of quality in today's times. Returning this asap at an extra cost to me which I'm also not happy about.

If the company I bought it from would take it back I would in a heartbeat! It’s terrible! We even bought a topper…. Still awful! We both wake up in pain every day! Now as a senior citizen I have to go out an buy another mattress or live with the terrible one I have!

I Haven’t been able to sleep a single night without hip or shoulders pain since a got this mattress a month ago… my upper back hurts so much, even my hands and feet hurt, that’s how bad this mattress is… I told the sales representative that I needed a medium soft mattress and they delivered this Therapedic Prelude Bravura brand firm one (too firm). I called the Affordable Furniture store I bought it from right away but they won’t exchange it nor take it back… I’m so disappointed and frustrated… waste of money and now I’m stuck
Saggy and too soft Haven't slept well since I bought it!
For the price I thought it would be much better. I tested the same mattress in the showroom of the store on several occasions and so did one of my relatives and when the mattress came it did not feel the same.
I did not complain about the mattress initially because I had fractured a disk in my back and thought it could be partially due to that. I bought the mattress two months after my compressed fracture. It has now been almost two years and it is not my back!
We have this mattress for a week and it smells like barf and dumster! We were told by Essex Home Furnishings that it needs to gas off for a few days. But it doesn't stop even after a week. I wake up with a major headache in the middle oft the night and I a nauseated. Terrible!!!
