The tuffed buttons dig into my hips and knees! Awful!

The mattress in the store felt wonderful! We felt it was worth the extra expense, three times as much as other high end mattresses. Once we had it awhile (it does take time to adjust to a new mattress) we realized it wasn't what we'd expected it to be at all! My husband and I both toss and turn all night long trying to get comfortable. We're so incredibly disappointed in this purchase!

lumpy!

Felt like I was sleeping in a hole. And the top has very hard hard buttons that would dig in my side. Had to always sleep on back and between the tuffs. Felt like my foot would fall into a hole at night from the tuffs. The store was able to turn the bed in for body impressions. Got a replacement. beautyrest black c class medium pillow top. Very bad bed too :(

Worst Mattress I ever slept on

I bought this from MattressFirm they replaced it with the same model and I still have the same issue again it sagged to the point that I cannot sleep on this mattress anymore. I ordered Xfirm and both sides of the bed have deep pockets and unable to sleep on. I wish i have made a better decision second time when Mattressfirm replaced it but they convince me to try another piece. now I am stuck with this garbage.

Might as well sleep on the floor

I thought I was buying a high quality mattress. The cost sure indicated that I was. The store where I bought it assured me that this was the softest, most comfortable mattress they sold. The store model seemed soft, but the mattress I received felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I have not had a good night since I bought it 5 1/2 months ago. I have since layered 4 mattress toppers trying to make it softer, to no avail. This is the hardest, most uncomfortable mattress I have ever owned and the most expensive. I called the manufacturer and they suggested that I walk on the bed to soften it up. They would not exchange the mattress or help me in any way, and it was too expensive to throw away. I will never buy from Chattam and Wells again, and will not recommend it to anyone ever. Very disappointing to see that some manufacturers do not stand behind their products. I would have been satisfied to exchange the mattress, but they would do nothing.

Two Hammocks

It is like I am sleeping in a hammock. Two indentations, probably from rotating the mattress. I'm not over weight, wife weighs 123 and I am at 188. Should of done something when I first bought bed. Replaced after 3 months, already started showing indentations. Now the indentations are way to deep. Been bad for the last 4 years. Not a happy camper. You figure you spend $7,000 for a bed you would get something of high quality.

Can't wait to go to bed!

After sleeping on a traditional innerspring mattress for 15 years, we were ready to upgrade to a more hotel-like mattress. Choosing a new mattress is complex with all of the new mattress companies out there saying theirs is the best. I did not want to order a mattress online without trying it first, so we went to a furniture store nearby and were able to try out the Chattam & Wells mattresses. We ended up with a plush version and have slept better and longer with the new mattress. It is more supportive than our traditional innerspring and we sink into the mattress, but not too much. Overall, I am impressed with the Chattam & Wells quality of materials and hope the mattress lasts a long time.

Motion transfer reduction is a joke

The mattress is good quality, but way too heavy to manage when turning. I have the same pains as I did when I was on a 8 year old beautyrest black. I think after only 4 months the top seems to be getting indented a little, but my biggest complaint is that I feel EVERYTHING when my boyfriend moves in the slightest bit. It’s worse than a $500 basic spring bed! Unless this is just a defective bed, I wouldn’t buy this bed again.

Just Wanted the Same Mattress we Tried in the Store

How is it possible that a floor model and a purchased model are so night-and-day different? The floor model was a dream. We’ve now had our mattress for four nights and they’re the worst I’ve slept in years. I wish I had my old mattress (and several thousand dollars) back. If you’re looking at this mattress, please look elsewhere!

Worst (& most expensive) decision I’ve made

I have been so incredibly disappointed in this mattress. When I tested it out at Mattress Firm I absolutely LOVED it. It felt soft & bouncy but very sturdy and well made. I decided to splurge because I have a chronic issue with my neck since an injury a few years ago. My current bed did me no favors so I thought I was really upgrading. I did a tremendous amount of thinking and online research but felt like it was impossible to trust both good or bad reviews because I read so many of either. I also trusted the Mattress Firm policy. I really regret that. I knew right away that this Mattress did not feel like the one in the store. I tried to figure out why by going back to the store but they blew me off saying it needed to break in. A year later I am miserable every night. My mid and lower back hurt so bad at night and I never get comfortable. It’s the worst Mattress I’ve ever slept in. And it was by far the most expensive at the store. So I couldn’t even trade for a comparable Mattress from another brand. The salesman just never answered my attempts at resolving the problem. This is a nightmare Mattress.

Has a “WoW” factor

This mattress is in a class of its own. When compared to others it far out ways them an has a WoW factor about it. You literally feel a night and day different from this to any other mattress. We tried all brands and levels of quality. While there are others out there that are good don’t get me wrong this mattress completely thrilled us in comparison.
