Ours lasted about a year. I guess we were lucky.

Reading reviews I guess we got a longer life than many form our mattress. It was almost a year before we realized that we weren't imagining things and there were sink holes , especially on my side . I am 225 pounds so I realize I am overweight but for what we paid this is ridiculous. We have now had the mattress almost 3 years and even our very light weight daughter can't use it because she "gets stuck," The thing I feel the worst about it that the first few months I loved it so much I encouraged a close family member to spend the money to get the same one. He is very slender but now has the same problem as us. This is just wrong. Serta should do something for us! The sink holes are not obvious by looking at it, but you sure feel it as soon as you lay down.

Your Serta mattress is protected against manufacturing defects, including sagging/body impressions beyond the threshold that determines what is normal wear as outlined in the warranty brochure. Normal wear over time can cause the mattress foams and fibers to feel softer where your body lays night after night versus other areas of the mattress exposed to less wear. You can rotate your mattress to promote even wear. However, if you believe this to be a defect, you can contact your retailer for warranty services. If they are no longer in business or if you have moved, please call us at 1-888-55-SERTA (1-888-557-3782) for further assistance.

Love it

We've had this mattress for about 10 years and it's super comfortable and I love it to bits. It's so soft and cozy, you don't want to get out of it.

Go with your gut

Honestly, I went to the mattress store to purchase the tempurpedic cloud and feel like I was talked out of it and into this one. Salesman didn't have last years cloud on display anymore for me to try out again and said more people return their tempurpedics. Mmm how bout it cost me $300 more than the cloud I wanted (and loved the feel)? I wake up with a sore lower back almost every day. I think 4 months is a good enough "break in" period. I will suffer for a few years and then get what I wanted. It makes me angry that I have to pay a restocking fee. That would be a couple hundred. I sleep on my back, side and stomach so it's not from any certain position I continually sleep in.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. The iComfort Savant comes in two comfort levels: Cushion Firm + Plush (we are unsure of which one you purchased). The plush is among one of our softer memory foam mattresses, while the Cushion Firm leans toward the firmer side. We see that you believe this mattress to be much too hard. For added comfort, we recommend adding a mattress topper. We also recommend taking note of what you like and dislike about this mattress for the future so you are able to determine which provides you with your ideal comfort.

If you like sleeping in a Taco Shell.....

Our previous mattress (Verlo) lasted over 22 years. This Serta mattress we thought would be a nice upgrade. After 2 (TWO) years it was MUCH worse than our 22 year old mattress. It is almost 3 years old now and we can't use it at all. Please don't waste your money on a Serta.

Sags where you lay, like sleeping in a hole

Dissatisfied, not kind to arthritis. Makes too deep of impression and feels like you have sunk to the hard floor. Also purchased the controller adjustable frame. What a waist!

NOT Comfortable

Before we got this bed, I had a Sealy plush mattress, which in my opinion, was the most comfortable mattress ever! Even on nights when I couldn't sleep, I could still lie in the bed and feel comfortable and not hurt. With this Serta mattress, I can not lie there too long if I can't fall asleep. It's not because it's a Serta...it's because it's a very firm mattress. I know some people love firm mattresses, but I hate firm mattresses, no matter who makes them. I could not easily move around on it and I need to be able to move around. I would also wake up with bad indigestion, which I never get. I only got it from this bed. We had to buy an expensive topper to put on top of it just so I could actually sleep. We didn't buy a foam mattress because those toppers are too foamy and hot and germy. We bought a goose feather topper to make it somewhat able to sleep on it. I still do NOT like this mattress...I wish we would've gotten the plush one...I just let my fiance pick it out and he picked the firm one.

Like 2 Cots Side-by-side

Within 2 years body depressions formed on either side, with a firm hump in the middle. When one of us is gone the other "hikes the hump" for better sleep. Yes we rotate the mattress, every month now. I contacted Serra for warranty information. They had a 3rd party, Mattress Marshalls, send a self-inspection kit. The "kit" was a string with a washer tied at either side to lay across the bed to measure depression depths. An unmade bed must sag 1.5" or greater to qualify. Ours only sagged 5/8". Sorry if this is boring but it's worth knowing. Every morning we wake up stiff. Never when I sleep at a hotel though.

I wake up every morning with back pain it takes 3 to 5 minut

Every morning it takes about 3 to 5 minutes from me to straighten up I toss and turn all night long I don't sleep at all sometimes because I can't get comfortable I sleep with six pillows in my bed and I have to prop the pillows around my body in order to get comfortable so that I can sleep I have constant back pain that was the purpose of me buying the new mattress the Serta tranquil breeze was supposed to be firm and help with the back pain but in less than a year after I have the mattress is starting to sag I purchase a mattress from Macy's department store and they have not been cooperative or were not cooperative because I had to exchange the mattress I bought from them before the tranquil breeze they went as far as to tell me I needed to buy a new bed

horrible mattress, the Serta and Macy companies are horrible

We have only had this mattress since October 2015. There is already a inch sag all the way across it. Serta will not warranty a mattress until it is 11/2 inch. We spent over $1200 for this mattress and had we known the quality we would not have purchased it. Customer service at both the Macy and Serta store are horrible to deal with. I spoke with 3 different people at Macy's and each one of them have me a different story as to what should be done.

We're sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. Normal body impressions can occur over time due to the nature of foams and fibers when exposed to body weight and temperature after consistent use. We conduct very thorough quality testing at our Research & Development lab where we simulate years of wear on our Perfect Sleeper mattresses, and have consistently determined that body impressions less than 1 1/2" are considered normal after consistent use of the mattress. Anything greater than this would be covered by warranty. We suggest rotating the mattress and making sure that the box spring and bed frame are providing proper support. HORRIBLE MATTRESS DEVELOPING BAD IMPRESSIONS

This mattress was purchased in April of 2015 and it has already began developing sink holes where my husband and i sleep if you roll to the middle it is much firmer. Horrible design not even close to luxury. Do not waste your money on this one. We paid $1,400.00 and it is the worst purchase of a mattress that i have ever made.
