I rather loved my mattress
So, this mattress has been good to me for 10 years. I think I bought it at Dormez Vous in Westmount (Montreal) Quebec. I'm 5'3", 128 lbs, side sleeper/back sleeper, sleep generally close to the edge, and am always cold at night. It has a mattress protector on it and there's a split queen boxspring underneath that I got at the same time. I rotated it maybe once a year front to back. A 55 lb dog and a 12 lb cat have been sleeping with me on this mattress for most of its history. I remember when I bought the mattress it felt like the greatest mattress I'd ever slept on because my old one was really old. It's not as new as it once was but I never noticed any dents or divets or anything strange. I've never had any pain or discomfort from the mattress in those 10 years (occasionally I get pain from weird sleeping positions -- I can't blame the mattress for that) and really, I am always happy to come back home and sleep on it after being away. OK, so a few luxe hotels had better mattresses. Another of my mattress' finer points was that it was good for sex. Good bounce. Can I say that here? It matters to me. What else can I think of? The edges are solid so I can sit on the edge of the bed to put on my socks or use it for exercise. Those are qualities I like a lot. The only negative -- I don't love the pillowtop. I liked feeling the firmness underneath, but the pillow top never really excited me and now maybe the pillowtop has gotten a bit misshapen? I can't remember what it was like before. My bed is my favorite place to sit and work too. I'm sitting on it now as I type this and wondering what mattress I'll get next. Anyway, thanks Serta for many good sleeps.
