I am very happy with this choice on a Rize adjustable base. I am 5”7’ 130 so it’s not easy for me to find a reeealy soft mattress to sink into ( I sort of just float on top) but once I tried this lovely one I knew it would be the best one for me that I could afford. Also, I got the Best deal that I’ve seen since (!!) so don’t be afraid to walk away; I was genuinely hungry, but man did he drop so much off so quickly that I had to seal the deal. Not like they were desperate either, Lots of people in Fl buying beds right now, unfortunately.

Mattress to thin

The iSeries Hybrid 2000 12.5 Firm mattress it's too thin to get comfortable. I would not purchase this bed again.

Good at first

It felt fine at first but after year three I felt hunched lying in bed on my back. Even on my side, my spine sags down and stretches on the lower side. I'm 171 pounds 5'6. And fairly active. We're on year five and I've been jamming pillows under my back to correct the arch. It is a one sided, sewed on pillow top. So you can't replace the topper when it gets worn and you can't flip it to let it rest--only rotate it which doesn't help much. It also sleeps hot. I get up about halfway through the night to let it cool, or else I roll frequently in the bed like a rotisserie chicken. And we keep it cold at about 60* in the bedroom at night.

Best I've ever slept on!

I actually love going to bed, because I get to sleep on this wonderful mattress. Best mattress, comfort-wise and sleep-wise that I've ever slept on.

I expected a longer lifespan than 7 years for the price

When I first got this bed, I thought it was too hard. I bought all sorts of toppers to make it softer and then I fell in love with it. That lasted less than 2 years. I started having trouble with it being too soft in places and then still too hard in others. I had removed any toppers at this point and that may be why it was hard in certain places. I have to admit this is on an adjustable base which I bought with the bed. Now, knowing what I know about memory foam this may have contributed to the bed breaking down so fast. I know that is not promoted when you buy it but if just sleeping on memory foam breaks down the fibers, imagine what going up and down daily with the base does to the fibers. I just wish that someone would explain all this at the time you purchase it because you don't spend that much on a bed and expect you will have to replace it within 10 years.

Ouch-My Back: Ok to Poor Sleep

I tried this bed in the store. It was great. However, the delivered product felt much firmer and never got any better. I bought a topper, which provided some relief until it didn't. I don't recommend this mattress for a petite, combo back and side sleeper. It's pure torture, especially if you exercise frequently. It has caused me a great deal of back pain. Unfortunately, I have to purchase a new mattress after three years to achieve a better night's rest.

Impressions so bad at 4 months and warranty is a joke!

l will NEVER BUY a Serta again!! Had this 4 months and my husband impression was so bad. He is 220 pounds and not overweight! I called Serta and they said take pic and fill out form online. they said pics didn't go through so I told them to send someone out and see, they said they would and no phone call back to set up appointment. I've had neck surgery during this process and sleep better in a recliner to this very day. A mattress topper on the floor is better than this mattress! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE! Do not buy a mattress on QVC either!
