Brick hard despite being rated a "Plush" mattress.
I normally prefer hard mattresses. This is like sleeping on a brick despite a topper. I think Serta is having quality issues since my friend has the very same mattress in a queen and it's perfect to sleep on. Mine is a Cal King and as I stated above, it's like a brick. My friend tried sleeping on it when visiting and could not believe it was the same mattress. I tried to exchange the mattress but it turned into a nightmare and did not.
I'm now looking locally to get a new one even though this one is about 18 months old. Worst money I ever spent.

Bought this mattress to alleviate nightly back, hip and knee pain. Bed seemed very comfortable but typically wake up 3-4 times a night with hip pain, prompting me to "flip" sides. Mattress was sold to us as a "firm" with pillow top. This has been my experience (i.e. too firm but plush top).

I am a 110 lb female sleeping alone on this mattress. Within three weeks the pillow top started to retain indentations where my butt rests. After less than 2 months I can no longer sleep comfortably on this mattress. My hips rest on what feels like a hard surface below the pillow top and I wake with pain in both hips from trying to find a comfortable position. It is also aggravating my sciatica. I bought it from a store with a 100 night exchange policy. It is going back as soon as I find a replacement.

After almost 20 years of trying to sleep with a human burrito, we finally decided to sleep in separate beds! It didn’t really matter to him because he actually does sleep like a rock. But I couldn’t take it anymore! After hurricane Ian used my previous mattress (mem foam) as a giant sponge we set out to find me my perfect mattress. I am disabled. I am fortunate to be able to afford this price range.
After one daylong search, I got it down to 1 of the iseries from serta; and people, the second that I laid down on the hybrid plush 4000 I was in heaven: ) I am still in heaven! It’s so well crafted and yes, you Can feel the cooling sensation!! I do have it on top of a Rize adjustable frame that I also adore. At 1st I was worried that, with the thickness of the mattress, I wouldn’t get the same quality “feeling,” especially in zero gravity ( my favorite position) but it’s just fine; I can even feel the different massage levels through it!!
I’ve been sleeping like a teenager ever since my 1st night - for me and my body, that is a miracle. So, obviously I Love my new mattress!! The store gave me a written guarantee of 120 days sleep trial too!? I must add that by the time we got to this store we were both very hungry and tired and the salesman was a bit pushy and we were really getting ready to actually walk out and get something to eat, but the salesman finally blurt out a price that was discounted by almost $700 so we had to jump on that deal, hungry or not. You can haggle, just be polite and firm. I was very surprised and much happier as we were planning on returning the next day to buy it anyway Lolol!
It’s a big investment for most people, but the right mattress will last for a long time so go for it if you can. Sweet dreams to everyone zzzxo

Will never purchase anything from America's Mattress
We purchased a Serta king mattress from America's Mattress in February 2022. Went to the location where we purchased it to place a warranty claim and was told we need to do it on line. We went home and filed a warranty request as the mattress is sagging, despite rotating it every couple of weeks. I received a reply and was sent documents I needed to fill out and was told there is a $69.00 non- refundable fee to file and for the inspector to come to our home and inspect the mattress to check if the mattress sagged at least 1.5 inches (our mattress sags more than that). I told the rep that this mattress is still brand new and have never of a fee to file a warranty. NEVER EVER WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE.

Bad bed from day one. The first one came with a sunk place in the middle of bed. After a week the second one did the same thing. I have a loft that is really hard to get things up, so thought it would straighten out over time, just got worse. I am getting ready to purchase a new bed. I will not be buying a Serta, even though I thought it was a good name brand. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch
Serta Perfect Sleeper 17.5 "Luminous Sleep Plush Pillowtop
This is a thoroughly luxury mattress. The many layers of dense pillowtop memory foam seem to massage me while the Serta Perfect Sleeper 800 coils support me nicely. I wake totally refreshed daily!
