hot and sore !

I wake up from heat in the middle of the night. And have a sore shoulder since I am a side sleeper. Thinking to buy a softer one and one with cooling effect !

Do not use the side straps for lifting the heavy mattress. We did (and barely cleared the box springs), when two of the straps broke away from the mattress. I called my dealer and was told that they were for ornamental purposes only. I felt really let down.

Fine for a While

This mattress was the warranty replacement of another mattress that had huge bed dents. This was a firmer mattress with less fluff so we thought it would not get those awful dents. We are not large people. About 2 years into owning this mattress, the dents started. At this point they look like craters and the bed is killing our back, hips and shoulders. We have suffered for about a year now and we really must replace it.

Pillow Top Isn't secured correctly internally

After 6 months of having this mattress we started getting "bundling" of the pillow top in areas, my fiance and I are both under 140lbs and we are not big people so there was no reason for this to happen. Rooms To Go replaced it and then we moved, transported the mattress as we were told to do so by Rooms To Go and now we have a huge lump of pillow top on one side of our mattress and the replacement is 1 year old. I called Serta and they won't do anything with their "10 year" worthless warranty and said that since it's been transported we're SOL. Rooms To Go doesn't service the area we moved to, so we have a $1,000 mattress that we can throw in the trash now. Thanks a lot Serta for your crap warranty. Will never be purchasing another Serta mattress again as the pillow tops are not secured internally correctly and they won't cover anything to fix it. What's the point of warranty if they don't even come out to asses the damage without charging us a fee?

Mattress sags and loses support after 2-3 months

I was so excited to bring this mattress home and use it. After 2 - 3 months, it lost it's support and I woke up with more back pain than I went to sleep with! The seller replaced it without any difficulty, HOWEVER- it did the same thing after 2 months! Where I sleep is like a deep depression, and to get to the other side of the bed is like rolling uphill 2 inches! I am so disappointed, especially since I paid $2,600.00 for this mattress. The retailer is replacing it again this week, but I am not hopeful that the issues will not reoccur.

Doesn't Last Long - Save your money!

Purchased this King Size mattress in 2012. Five years later the mattress sags where both I and my husband generally sleep. In the middle is a huge "mountain" that you can't roll over. You can not move any which way once you are "stuck" in the hole from your body impression. This mattress only lasted five years....and for the price I would have thought we would have got 8-12 years out of the mattress. Terrible purchase....save your money!

Avoid this mattress!

We bought this mattress less than 7 months ago, and already it's falling apart. The sides have no support and the top layer has shifted so badly that it's got giant ridges almost an inch tall on it all over the place making it extremely uncomfortable!

a disastrous purchase

By the time we had had this mattress for 1 year, my husband's side of the bed was dipped and drooping so badly that we already need a new mattress. We have been married 26 years, and this is our 4th mattress (others averaged over 8 years). It never occurred to us that a mattress could wear out so quickly. We are hoping that Sam's (where we purchased it) will refund some of our money, but refund or not, we can't keep sleeping on this horrible bed.

Will buy again

The Vera Wang mattress has been great! The only problem I’ve had is sleeping hot, but can’t say that’s due to the mattress since I’ve gone through menopause, but it hasn’t helped any. The comfort is fantastic and with two overweight adults sleeping on it it’s held up wonderfully.
