    Avoid this mattress!

    We bought this mattress less than 7 months ago, and already it's falling apart. The sides have no support and the top layer has shifted so badly that it's got giant ridges almost an inch tall on it all over the place making it extremely uncomfortable!

    a disastrous purchase

    By the time we had had this mattress for 1 year, my husband's side of the bed was dipped and drooping so badly that we already need a new mattress. We have been married 26 years, and this is our 4th mattress (others averaged over 8 years). It never occurred to us that a mattress could wear out so quickly. We are hoping that Sam's (where we purchased it) will refund some of our money, but refund or not, we can't keep sleeping on this horrible bed.

    Will buy again

    The Vera Wang mattress has been great! The only problem I’ve had is sleeping hot, but can’t say that’s due to the mattress since I’ve gone through menopause, but it hasn’t helped any. The comfort is fantastic and with two overweight adults sleeping on it it’s held up wonderfully.

    Perfect combo of soft upper layer over supportive layer

    Extremely happy with this mattress. Overnight guests always comment in the morning how comfortable it is.

    Sleep better on my couch

    I am very disappointed in this mattress. Also disappointed in the response of the store and time it's taking to get this resolved. I filed a claim 3 weeks ago and can't get any help. Mattress has sagged close to 2 inches from the center to the outer edge of bed. I can rotate the bed and I am sleeping up hill, constantly moving around trying to get comfortable. I sleep better on my couch!

    If you enjoy a firm mattress this is for you, if you like waking up with pain everyday in your shoulders, hips and neck this is the perfect mattress!!

    Serta Perfect Sleeper Capitol

    Not sure why this mattress got a bad review. It is not too plush nor too firm. It has a material that does not heat up or feel weird like memory foam. Whatever it is made of feels really good to sleep on and we keep the mattress set in a guest room where we have been told by a few friends it was some of the best sleep they can remember. On a few occasions I slept on this mattress when I set up a tv in the spare room and I can concur, I slept like a baby.
