First 2 years = good. Last 3 years has been horrible.

We bought this to replace an 8 year old queen traditional mattress. It was good for the first 2-3 years. Now after less than 5 years the foam has broken down to the point that there is a hump in the center of our mattress. The areas that we sleep on are so broken down you can't roll over to change sleeping positions. You have to get up on your hands and knees or just get out bed completely. We had a rep come out and take some measurements. Not bad enough yet serta says. We will never buy another serta and can not recommend their products. Big waste of money.

No recovery to mattress

The edges sink and when rolling over the center does nor recover, it is liking falling off a hill. It is high in the middle and sunk on the edges. Today I am taking it back to BigLots for an exchange.

Little sleep in the Valley of Applause II

After two years, I now have a crater in the middle of the mattress that sucks in my body, resulting in backache and a poor night's sleep. I will review the warranty today--very disappointing purchase.

Don't waste your money buying this.

I am 6 foot 2 inches tall and 285 lb with severe lower disc issues in my back and spinal stenosis and nerve damage down my left leg and occasionally sleep with a female companion who is 5 ft 11 245 lb and this bed turned into a hammock in less than a year. . The bed was rated as a firm and it's not FIRM,I would say maybe medium for the first two months then it became a soft making noise with every movement.... and this bad was placed on an olee 14 inch platform bed frame with nine legs that is supposed to hold 4,000 pounds.... before this mattress my Lebeda Mattress Factory firm memory foam mattress lasted 7 years before sagging.... I am now sleeping on a Brooklyn Mattress Factory Titan bed that I ordered for 30% off making it $699 and having the best sleep of my life for now.... the Brooklyn Titan bed does have a 10-year warranty against any body impression or flaws and is designed for heavy sleepers..... save yourself the trouble and spend another three or four hundred dollars on a bed so it lasts if you are a heavy person or a person with serious back problems.

Never pillow top again,

Never Paula Dean (Serta) again, after 4 years I have flipped over to flat side and put memory foam on. Let's hope this helps this bad mattress

Snoozing better than others

The other reviewers must have pre-existing medical conditions or they’re just full of BS. I sleep most excellently and wanted a firm yet supple mattress. This fit the bill perfectly for someone in good shape.

Disappointed

So excited. My third serta and finally king size. But it has not held up well at all and was expensive also. Very disappointed

Middle bunched up

On recommendation from our salesperson we used this with an adjustable frame. In less than a year the mattress bunched up lengthwise! Not in the middle as I would have thought with an adjustable base. Became very uncomfortable. We bought 2 extra long twins to make a king size bed. Both mattresses were flawed.

I ACHE and so does He

For the 1st month I was happy, hubby was not. Then my crater formed and the hump in the middle of the mattress. It says that to uphold the warranty we must flip the mattress every 6 months. Kind of hard to do when it is attached to the base. We had to pay 3 LARGE guys to come move it 180 degrees since if you flip it you are sleeping on the base. Now we both awaken with back pain daily. I wish I had NEVER purchased this piece of crap. I spent way too much money for this pain. And I have NOT injured my back in any way. It just feels that way the 1st hour I get out of bed from sleeping in the crater.
