Straight-Forward, Honest Great Bed

My bed was shot and was having terrible back pains. I desperately needed a new bed and spend weeks researching Tempurpedic, the adjustable air bed, all the name brands. It was nearly impossible to find apple to apple comparisons as companies seemingly didn't want you to be able to do that. I finally looked online to see what was the best rated from a customer standpoint and came across Saatva. I never heard of them but was impressed with their website. Straight forward, honest, no gimmicks, no B.S., no misleading claims about their warranty. They told you exactly how their beds were made and what was in them. I was VERY impressed with the organic cotton, recycled steel, and natural foam they used. I liked their sliding scale test that told you how soft or firm your bed should be. They told you point blank if you needed a firmer or softer bed than they made to look elsewhere. I likes that they didn't just have these bed stacked in a warehouse but made them for you upon your order. Saatva customer reps contacted me to conform the order and tell me what to expect and when to expect it. I knew from the beginning it would take between 14-20 days to get my bed because they only made it upon my order. Upon completion they allowed my to select the day I wanted it delivered and a four-hour time frame. The deliverers took away my old bed and professionally put together my new one for me. Then they sat down and reviewed all the paper work and explained the warranty and asked my to sign stating I was happy with the delivery, installation, treatment by the deliverers. I love my Saatva bed. It's sturdy, comfortable, very supportive, and upon the second night my back pains went away that all the Advil in the world wouldn't relieve. I love the organic and natural materials as there never was any chemical orders from the cover or foam. The price was great $1350 for all the options I wanted, installation, delivery, and removal of my old bed. I wish all my purchasing experiences were as great a this!!

A Company You Can Trust

We were hesitant to order a mattress sight unseen, but after reading the great reviews regarding the product and Saatva's customer service ratings, we confidently ordered a queen firm mattress. Ordering was easy and was followed up by a phone call and e-mail. We were even assured we would receive the mattress before Christmas. When I got no call from the delivery service the day prior to the scheduled delivery, I called the carrier but they were closed. A Saatva representative called the carrier and assured me I would receive a call regarding delivery between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. that evening. When no call came, I called the carrier the following morning only to learn that an inventory mistake was made and the delivery would be in approximately two weeks. I was very disappointed the carrier failed to call me at any point, and especially disappointed that they failed to inform me no delivery would occur on the scheduled date. I called a Saatva representative, who was very sympathetic and apologetic, and compensated me for the delay. A follow-up call to me was made by Ed Brians ,the Executive Vice President, and he was gracious enough to speak to me and my wife for several minutes and turned my disappointment completely around. The mattress was delivered within one week rather than two. Also, to the carrier's credit, they called me and proved that customer satisfaction is also the number one priority with them. I cannot imagine receiving this high level of customer service from any other business. Regarding the firm mattress we ordered, it is definitely firm but very comfortable. We are sleeping well on this high quality mattress. You can buy from Saatva with confidence that you will be well taken care of.

Love this bed!

This is the best mattress ever, yes I was skeptical about buying online, but I did my research it's the way they make their mattress . This mattress is so comfortable!, I feel lucky to have one, It feels like cloud 9, perfect about of firmness with a pillow top feel! I literally tried every mattress at the department store, I am so happy I went with Saavta instead. Most comfortable, great quality & price!

Delivery

There is a reason why there are so many comments regarding delivery - Saatva's delivery services are poorly lacking. I realize that Saatva relies on their delivery partners however would recommend Saatva evaluate their partners and work with only those that meet/keep commitments. I was on the verge of canceling the entire order after trying to work with Saatva and their delivery staff - the mattress itself may be good but, in hindsight, the delivery hassle's just are not worth it.

Best Bed for Side Sleepers

We recently received our mattress and LOVE IT so far. We are side sleepers and this has turned out to be the best mattress we have had in 25 years. Recently we bought and tried Sleep number iLE and sent it back. In the past we tried memory foam and sent that back. We have also bought several high end regular mattresses in the past with no relief. WE WILL NOT SEND OUR SAATVA BACK.

Touch of class and comfort

When it was time to purchase a new mattress buying on line was not on our list of options, until my wife's curiosity and desire to find a solution to her sleep challenges led her to explore what might be available on the web. That is how we found Saatva. We both were impressed with their story, many of the reviews, the forty five return policy and customer service commitment. That said, we still had questions and some reservations. Both of these were answered to our satisfaction using the on line chat feature resulting in the decision to purchase a California King. The ordering process and communication regarding delivery were seamless with the mattress delivered a few days early. After two months, we are happy to say the mattress is wonderful. More importantly, the premium innerspring construction has allowed my wife to experience a full nights sleep in bed something she has not been able to do for a couple of years.

Lung irritant

Buyer beware, although the website currently tells you only that they use a "natural thistle fire barrier with a bit of polyester", there IS something else in the fire barrier. I started having lung irritation after taking it out of the plastic and this irritation is consistent with my experiences with other mattresses where the fire barrier was an issue. It is NOT off gassing, it's not fumes, it is an odorless irritant and it doesn't go away. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid by buying this mattress. I e-mailed the company and asked if they used something else in their fire barrier. I asked about silica and I was told there "may" be silica in there and that if I was sensitive I shouldn't buy the mattress. Why not disclose this in the first place and avoid this nonsense? I also asked them about borates but recieved no response on that one. No refund, now I can't breath, coughing... Buyers beware, if you're at all sensitive let me give you the warning that the Saatva website does not give you: This mattress may cause lung irritation.

Fantastic night's sleep

These guys are the REAL DEAL., and made in America. From excellent customer service, delivery in less than 18 days (in fact, 11), mattress quality, comfort, and price is fantastic! I threw away a 5 month old serta with a lump all the way down the middle and 5 months of back, neck, and leg pain for the best night's sleep and awoke pain free. That's saying something as I have cervical and lumbar bone spurs.Excellent product is an understatement. Thank you everyone associated with this fine product!

Best in comfort and blissful, pain-free sleep!

Next month is our two-year anniversary of enjoying blissful, pain-free, and uninterrupted sleep on our Saatva mattress. My wife and I have had 60 years each of "testing" mattresses of every type and brand, including our 39 years of marriage. Before I learned about Saatva, I had developed constant back pain, which I thought was permanent. Doctors could offer no hope or relief beyond pain pills and muscle relaxants. But the root of the problem was my "old" mattress, which was less than five years old! We had bought that one because of back pain from the mattress we had before. Buying replacement mattresses every few years had been the unfortunate pattern of my life for 40 years, with no lasting relief from back pain. Within a week of sleeping on our Saatva, all of that pain was gone, and sleepless nights are ancient history. It's the only thing that changed in my routine, so nothing else can explain the tremendous change in my life. It's as if I've acquired a brand-new spine that was never in pain before. We've never owned a mattress like this, regardless of the amount of money we spent on the "famous" brand mattresses. In fact, Saatva mattresses cost far less than the so-called best mattresses from the other major brands, but you can't buy a better night's sleep anywhere at any price. Best bed I have ever owned

I had to replace a 17 year old Kingsdown bed that I had to put a memory foam topper on to make it sleep-able, but even that was failing. It never made its 20 year warranty and new ones are $3000+. I found Saatva through online research and ordered a King luxury firm for its low price and excellent reviews. It comes with a realistic 10 year warranty. Customer service was excellent as was the deliver. The bed has solved all our back pain issues. We will replace the other beds in the house with this one and recommend it to all our friends. It is more comfortable today than the day it was delivered!
