We have been extremely pleased with our experience from start to finish with Heritage Sleep Concepts. Their customer service was with mattress options as well as our delivery time was a breeze. We are sending fiends and family in the greater Atlanta area to use Heritage for any mattress needs.
We were excited when our new Saatva Plush Soft Mattress arrived. I had read hundreds of reviews and learned that many people who had initially ordered the Luxury Firm had either exchanged it for the Plush Soft or wished they had started with the latter. Knowing that my husband and I are both side sleepers and would like some extra cushion in hip/shoulder pressure points, we went with the Plush Soft. After the first night, it was obvious that this mattress was neither plush nor soft. We had a very restless sleep and had difficulty finding positions that were comfortable at all. Also, the mattress is VERY springie. Every time my husband rolled over, got up or even coughed, I could feel the bounce in the mattress. As a light sleeper, this was extremely disruptive. When I called customer service after about the issues we were having (after two more sleepless nights), they very quickly offered to send me a mattress topper at no cost. This made me think the softness or lack thereof is a common issue. It was going to take another week or so to get that to us. After about 4 more sleepless nights, we couldn’t wait any longer and decided to return the mattress altogether. A topper was not going to fix of all its flaws. This time, we went into a local brick and mortar store, actually felt the comfort of the mattress options in person and bought one that we are SO happy with. From here on, we’ll never buy a mattress online. Lesson learned.

Was great for about 5 years...until the body impressions
Bought this in 2017 when the company was still out of Westport, CT and had not been bought out yet. So maybe that's a good thing?
Loved this mattress for the first five years. This last year, the canoes have deepened and my wife and I wake up with back pain now and/or can't get comfortable. Of course you can't flip it. When I called Saatva about the warranty, they said, "Sure, we can fix it for you." But they have to come get the mattress and it takes 2 weeks to fix. We have no other bed to sleep on. How stupid.

I liked the idea of a less toxic mattress with quality materials in an “old school” format. Even though this mattress is considered plush it never felt truly plush. The top layer isn’t generous enough to give that luxury feel and the spring layer was noticeable under the Euro top layer. There aren’t enough layers at the top of the mattress. I would have gladly paid more for this particular brand if they had a lumbar supporting yet extra plush top layer model.

We got the 14.5 mattress and foundation. Bed was way to tall. Exchanged top mattress for 11.5 shorter mattress. It was firm not like the 14.5 soft mattress we returned. We then exchanged it for the 14.5mattress with the lower 11.5 foundation. Mattress is soft again with right height. The 14.5 mattress feels great . The 11.5 is firmer. They say they are the same. But they are not.

My second Savvta mattress. The soft plush did not have any odor but was way too soft. Now have the luxury firm which arrived four days ago. Only problem is the lasting, toxic chemical smell in the top part of mattress. Very toxic and can’t get rid of the smell. Even my dog smells like from it. This isn’t suppose to happen with this brand. I’ve never experienced this even with straight memory foam mattresses. Hoping the replacement doesn’t have the same problem! Stuck with it and it’s health effects for a few weeks.
I won this mattress (King size) and was a little nervous about getting it because our old mattress (Queen size) was pretty good. I bought all new bedding, frame, headboard & box springs to fit the new size and thought, "What if we don't like it and have to go back to the Queen?". We've now been sleeping on it for almost two months and my husband has thanked me several times for winning it :) It is so comfortable and the construction is so high-end. I don't know why I'd never heard of the Saatva brand before I entered the contest but it's definitely in my sights now for our next mattress, too!
My wife wanted a soft mattress that felt like a cloud. At first she thought even this mattress was too hard, but after a few weeks she has come to like it. She also discovered that her tingly feeling was not related to the mattress but rather a separate issue with her hand that has been addressed.
For myself, I'm about 160lbs and have recently been having back pain, both upper and lower. It got worse with this mattress, especially lower back pain. It seems I sink in way too far. My wife says we can't sleep too close together because it feels like she'll fall into my 'hole.' My lower back pain is unfortunately worse than before, and I believe it is because this mattress is not supportive enough for me. The middle of the bed feels better, where the saatva branded foundation has more support (because it's a king mattress so the foundation is split in the middle). Perhaps this mattress on a platform or hard surface would be better (their foundation is slat-based).
One other issue is my chest, which has never been in pain before but now I wake up with a bruised chest feeling. Considering how soft the mattress is at the waist, it was surprising to me that it would cause this issue at the top of my torso.
My wife and I really wanted to love this mattress but I think we will have to return it and try for something with more support .

Should have gone with the Plush, however, when given the choice to exchange it, I was told the Plush is only 20% softer than the luxury firm. I would love is Saatva made an ultra Plush because I feel that marketing their Plush mattress as soft is misleading, per the many reviews.
Unfortunately, not a big Saatva mattress lover. I had such high hopes that this was the one for me.
Alas, back to the drawing board and overload of mattress info. Ugh!
