Off gassed, smelled horrible for 3 weeks, could not use it, had to air out, then within 3 weeks hips and shoulders hurt and left impressions ..JCP , 5 months alter being notified sent someone to measure mattress! How it measures and how it sags when lying on it re like apples and oranges. Will never purchase from JCP or 5 star mattress again, mattress has to be rotated every 2-3 weeks and still hurts my hip, etc.. Springs can be felt around edges. This is terrible workmanship!
Our King Size Moss Creek Pillow top mattress has been awful. It forms deep sleep impressions after 1 year and that makes you feel like you are sleeping in a valley. Unfortunately Moss Creek's warranty process hasn't been helpful in returning this mattress (no response) after 2 claim entry's online. This bed makes my wife and I feel more sore after waking up in the morning than we did the night before. Would be happy to hear from someone from Moss Creek about this.
After researching the brand, I found that Serta makes the bed. That made me feel comfortable enough to try the mattress. Then I researched which collection is their best of quality. The True Luxury Collection is compared to the isoseries from Serta. My wife and I tried the mattress in a plush and it felt like heaven. The sales person was very helpful. Make sure they ask you how you sleep( back, side) very important to which type of mattress you will buy. This avoids back and neck pain in the future. It was the best valued mattress in the market in comparison to all the major ridiculously priced ones out there. Our friends and family bought five star mattresses after we bragged about it so much.
We have owned this bed for 4 years and it appears that it has reached its life expectancy. When you get up out of bed the impression of your body stays there, it used to pop back, but not anymore. I spend most of the night trying to climb out of the hole to roll over. Sleep does not come easy anymore. After only 4 years we are back on the market for a new mattress. Worst money ever spent.
My beds been great to me, over a year now and it feels like the first day I tried it in store. Highly recommend, hopefully the brand doesn't go mainstream and prices sky rocket, compares to beds double in price.
We bought this mattress last year and just after few months it started killing our backs. It was my wife who started getting back pains and now me. It got to the point where she doesn't even sleep in her room anymore. We tried to contact the manufacturer but nobody ever picks up the phone and never returned our calls. The Gallery Furniture in Milford ran out of business and we are stuck with this stupid mattress.
At the store, I laid on this bed and it seemed pretty comfy. The plush look and the $400 price helped me feel that this was a quality mattress. However, I didn't even last one night on it. The mattress quite literally hurts. I placed 2 foam mattress pads on top of it half way through the night. It helped take away the feeling of laying across door knobs but made it quite obvious that there was not good support in this mattress. An hour later I flipped my brand new mattress off my bed and replaced it with the mattress from the couch hideaway bed so I could get some sleep..though I've always hated sleeping on the couch mattress....it is better than sleeping on Five Star Mattress's Esteemed Collection Special Edition bed.
