Featuring the comfort of Essentia’s Beyond Latex™ organic memory foam, the even sleep surface of the Tatami™ offers a touch of pressure relief. This natural firm mattress does not have any wool or fiber batting that can act as a nesting ground for dust mites as you would find in other latex mattresses. The patented organic latex foam comfort layer acts like memory foam but does not have any of the petrochemical or toxic ingredients found in traditional memory foam.
The Tatami™ is a vegan mattress, you won’t find any wool or animal by products used on this non toxic mattress. Certified organic, the Tatami™ features a GOTS organic cotton cover that can be easily removed for ease of maintenance. All of the organic ingredients used to craft Essentia mattresses have been thoughtfully sourced from farms that follow sustainable and ethical farming practices, including strict fair trade and labor standards. The Tatami™ mattress is proudly handcrafted with care in Essentia’s GOLS and GOTS certified organic factory in Canada.

We took a medium-firm certified organic latex foam and topped it with just enough of our softer, dome-shaped organic contour latex surface. If you’re looking for a firmer-feeling natural mattress with exceptional comfort, the Stratami delivers next level comfort.

Generally, you'll find wool and cotton masquerading as 'comfort' layers on traditional firm latex mattresses. The Stratami organic latex firm mattress is different.
We avoid those fibrous nesting grounds, which dust mites love, by adding 3 inches of our dome-shaped contour latex for remarkable pillow-top like comfort with no wool or cotton.
The dome shape of our contour latex surface allows more air between the surface and the body, reducing pressure. The support layer underneath is made of certified organic latex so you’ll experience exceptional comfort and support.
This combination ensures our 20-year warranty stands strong.
