OE 100
The OE 100 Standard (OE 100) is a discontinued standard that was replaced by the OCS 100 Standard (OCS 100) in 2014. Like OCS 100, OE 100 was a standard for tracking and documenting the purchase, handling, and use of certified organically farmed cotton fiber (or organic-in-conversion cotton fiber) in yarns, fabrics and finished goods through the use of transaction certificates. OE 100 applied to all textile goods that contained at least 95% organic cotton, and was part of the OE (Organic Exchange) Standards which have now been replaced by the OCS (Organic Content Standard).
The OE 100 Standard was created by the Textile Exchange (formerly known as the Organic Exchange), a non-profit organization formed in 2002 to promote the responsible expansion of textile sustainability across the global textile value chain.
