- Want a mattress with a medium amount of softness
- Are either a back or side sleeper, especially if you weigh 200 lb or less
- Are very easily disturbed by other movements in the bed (motion isolation is exceptional)
- Prefer a slightly above average amount of 'memory feel'
- Would like a mattress that performs very well when used with an adjustable base
- Enjoy a happy medium between sleeping 'on' your mattress versus 'in' it

In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the Nolah Original to have very good adjustable base compatibility.
