In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the Cedar to have very good adjustable base compatibility.

Organic Cotton Cover
An organic cotton cover is hand-tufted to secure layers without chemical adhesives. It’s pesticide free, eco-friendly, and quilted with a natural fire barrier of hydrated silica sand, the same compound as the gemstone Opal.

We choose isolated springs to reduce noise, motion transfer, and partner disturbance.
1" Coconut Husk Support Layer
Forget foam bases - we chose an eco-friendly and sustainable layer of 100% organic coconut husk bonded with 100% natural latex. No glues are used. Coco fiber is usually discarded as waste, but we repurpose it for its circulation and antimicrobial properties.
