BEST if you
- Want a firm mattress
- Are mainly a stomach sleeper (though this mattress can also be very good for back sleepers)
- Can sometimes be disturbed by other movements in the bed (motion isolation is very good)
- Enjoy sleeping more 'on' your mattress than 'in' it
- Prefer an above average amount of 'memory feel'
NOT IDEAL if you
- Are a side sleeper, especially if you weigh less than 150 lb
- Like a fair bit of bounce in your mattress
- Have a strong tendency to sleep hot (temperature regulation is OK, but not the best)
- Frequently sit or sleep along the edge of your bed (edge support isn't the best, but is still pretty good)

Yes, the BedInABox Essential mattress is adjustable base compatible. This means it is designed to be used on an adjustable base without incurring damage or voiding the warranty. In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the BedInABox Essential to have good adjustable base compatibility.

- Fees: $0. 100% refund, no fees charged.
- Notes: If you are unhappy with the mattress after the 60 day minimum trial period, they will send a freight company to your home to pick up the mattress at no cost to you and you will receive a full refund. They cover the return shipping cost and even send the bags to package the mattress in for the pickup.
