Yes, the Avocado Green mattress is adjustable base compatible. This means it is designed to be used on an adjustable base without incurring damage or voiding the warranty. In our review of this mattress, we tested it on an adjustable base to look for any adverse effects as the head and foot are elevated, and to see how well it conforms to the contours of the base both with and without the weight of a sleeper. Overall, we found the Avocado Green to have excellent adjustable base compatibility.

Avocado mattresses feature Dunlop latex that is certified organic to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS), made from sustainably harvested sources. It’s an eco-friendly, high-performance material, offering resilience, durability, and temperature control that far exceeds synthetic, blended or petroleum-based polyurethane foams.
JOMA NEW ZEALAND WOOL
Wool does what other materials can not — it wicks away moisture, stays fresh, and acts as a natural fire barrier. It’s also naturally anti-microbial, resistant to dust mites, and offers natural temperature control (to complement our natural latex). Our Joma New Zealand Wool’s quality is some of the best in the world.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON
Our luxurious, button-tufted mattress covers are made with premium, certified organic cotton — one of the softest, most breathable and most comfortable fabrics available. It’s cool, wicks moisture and, better still, boasts the most stringent Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certification.
ERGONOMIC SUPPORT COILS
The Avocado Green Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 – 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 3 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. This premium, highly durable system allows for optimal and individualized ergonomic and joint support, while at the same time, better contouring to your body shape and evenly distributing weight.
