When this mattress was first purchased it was okay. Not great, just okay at support and comfort. Within 6 months (and the end of the trial period) the mattress started forming divits under our bodies. We tried "punching" them out, rotating the mattress, but it just got worse over time. We moved it to our guest room and went back to our old mattress. Incredibly disappointed in a mattress this expensive. I honestly have experienced more comfort with a $350 mattress. Won't make this costly of a mistake again.

This bed sucks when it sagged enough to warranty it out the guy claimed that we had removed the mattress tags and that voided the warranty.....it had no tags and if it did the dirty delivery guys removed it the whole thing is a scam the bed was only held up for about 1 year ill never buy this brand again

I've had this bed for 5 years and it has given me more back problems than i had before i started using it. They replaced it once and its still horrible. Its also super hot. Tried a topper and new frame and that didn't even help. I would never recommend it. Serta service was horrible. They claim they want you to be satisfied but they can care less.
This mattress was great for nearly a year, but I noticed that the area near my butt was beginning to sink about 10 months or so into owning it. At the time, I was the only sleeper, so I began sleeping on the other side. Within a few months, same thing.
I rotated the bed, which helped for a short time, but then the same began to happen again.
I've had this bed for seven years now, and it's caused me lots of back pain. Some nights I actually have to put a pillow under my hips to keep me from sinking. Other nights, I just get out of bed and move to the guest bed because I cannot stand it.
The sinking doesn't bother my husband as much.
I can finally afford to buy a replacement. I cannot wait to get a better bed. This one was such a waste of money.

within a year this mattress failed relative to providing ANY support. At $4,100 Serta should make warranty claims quick and easy.
Never buy a Serta, you'll likely be sorry.

Expected soft top to provide comfort for me while the main part of bed would provide some firmness and support for my husband. It achieved this in the first 2 years. Now it is ridiculously unsupportive for both of us. We sink so much that it takes several attempts to get out of bed for both of us. Husband has especially difficult time but I am petite 5’2 110 lbs and i basically have to hold on to side and climb out. Expected a much longer life for an expensive Serra mattress. I believe we paid about $1800. Now looking for suggestions for a firm mattress topper. Not happy with this product.

I like many folks here have had the same experience with failure in 4 years. We have a big hump in the middle that you cant roll over and the sides have failed. We have done everything to get serta to replace it and they will not honor their warranty. buyer beware
We have had this bed for a while now and it's just way too firm. How we've gone 5+ years with it is because we got a mattress topper that has worked pretty good, but this was probably our worst purchase. Teaches us to not listen to the sales guy at Macy's who was pushing this model...likely for commission.
Anyway, hope this helps others. If you like it firm, than maybe this is for you.
We have had this mattress for 2 weeks, after sleeping on it first night I woke up with sore throat and the smell was horrible. I aired it out for a day. Put mattress pad on and sheets, smell still horrible. I'm getting sicker. Washed everything on mattress again and tried ia again. I now have an infection which I think is from the fumes. I am on a z-pack and the mattress is being exchanged. My eyes flared up as well which they always do when I have a certain type of foam under them. It's a shame they can't make a mattress that is comfy and doesn't smell. Don't buy this toxic mattress if you are at all sensitive to smells. Now my husband didn't even notice the smell.
I noticed a horrible smell on the mattress as soon as we slept on it. I washed the mattress pad and sheets so I know it was coming from the mattress. Sore throat started for two nights and I came down with the worst sinus infection I could ever have. Bottom line is the mattress smells horrible like toxic chemicals would smell and it is going back. Why can't they make mattresses like they used to?
