Pretty goodarn but...

The top of the mattress bubbles and becomes loose sometimes which I've never seen before on a mattress.

great bed but a little too firm

Im a lightweight guy (150lbs) and bought the alexander signature select, medium firmness. I notice that I will have to flip around if i sleep on my side in the middle of the night. The side I am laying gets sore and uncomfortable. I had a softer latex mattress before. Aside from that, the mattress is good.

Softer than expected

Ordered a medium after testing mattresses at the Nest store in NYC. Found the medium too soft after using it for a month. Called Nest to replace it with the firm version. The person I talked to suggested the "new" medium which is firmer than the "old" medium. Got the "new" medium and it was firmer but is still too soft. Beyond the return period now so will have to live with it. Nest was very helpful with the first return though.

Alexander Hybrid + topper = sleeping on a cloud

Get the Alexander spring foam hybrid add foam topper finish with wool mattress cover. The result is cool cloud like comfort. Nest bedding customer service the best

Medium is too soft, Firm is just a bit too firm!

We started on a medium using our traditional mattress' box spring. The mattress seemed way too soft and gave me back pain from my mid-section sinking when I was on my stomach. Customer service told us that tradition box springs won't work with this mattress. We put it on the floor and there was some improvement, but not enough. They sent us a firm and we donated the medium. There is a big divide between the firm and the medium. My wife first described the firm as "a rock." I was pleased by the firmness, but she was not convinced. So far we have had a week of better sleep on the firm, but it is firmer than we expected.

Sleeps hot, poor edge support

We have tried different toppers and sheets (most notably cotton percale, which was cool on our previous mattress) to no avail: the mattress sleeps hot. It also develops depressions over time and the edge support is terrible. We initially tried to return this mattress and were offered an exchange instead. We asked if we would be able to try out the exchange, which the company confirmed and they said they would extend the trial. Unfortunately the exchange slept even hotter and they denied us the return.

If a mattress could take the stress out of life, I would be sleeping like a baby. Our bed has been nice. Overall , there has been a reduction in aches and pains but not a significant amount. Does my body feel better than when I was sleeping on our old mattress? Yes. If you are moving from a futon to this bed it will provide wow factor. If you are moving from an ordinary mattress to a Nest bed you will be pleased but not dazzled.

Great for Geezers

We both have back problems but agree that this soft mattress meets our needs the best. For myself it's nearly perfect. I didn't want to give up my waterbed I'd been sleeping on for over 25 years but was talked into a high dollar traditional mattress. It lasted about 8 years before we were both waking up from pain. My wife has scoliosis and an arthritic hip and is only comfortable on her side, me on my back or side. This is the only mattress that we can sleep on relatively pain free.

If you want numbness and hot sleeping conditions that cause you to wake up constantly get this mattress.......it is one of the worst mattresses I've ever slept on
