Terrible Purchase and Warranty Department

We were talked into a Chattam and the $4000 price tag that goes with it thinking we would get something that would last. WRONG. We had the mattress for seven years and noticed the indentations where we sleep continued to get worse. We opened a claim and paid for a rep to come out and assess. Impressions were over 2" on both sides much deeper than the "allowable" 1.5". The claim was subsequently denied because of a stain on the mattress that was smaller than a quarter and over 30" away from where the settling occurred. The warranty is a joke as is the customer service.

Canoe bed

We purchase this mattress in Virginia, the first one we returned because it left body impressions felt like a canoe, they recommended a better one for 600.00 dollars more, well we did the swap but sure enough it did the same thing, I am 5.5 ft. and weigh 152 pounds, my husband is 5.11 and 169 pound, it is not logical why this is happening to us, we try to rotate the mattress several times and it does the same thing, the furniture store will not let us return it. We are very frustrated with this purchase the FSG Madeline 3100, made in America, Greensboro, NC.

I have had to put in 2 x 10 lumbers under the mattress

The mattress sagged on both sides and left a lump in the middle. I have turned it regularly to no avail. Now if i lay on my back, I experience severe pain. Manufacturer has changed and they are not honoring and warranties, I still have 11 years on the non-prorated warranty.

Sleep Without Making Waves!

I bought this mattress set to furnish a new home. Here I am, 14 years later, I no longer have the home, but I still have the mattress set! I'm a big guy(300+ pounds), so previous mattresses very quickly turned into sleeping in a bowl. I had a 90% waveless waterbed that I enjoyed for years, but I lost custody of it in a divorce. I decided to replace the waterbed with a regular mattress set, and the salesman at the bedding shop recommended the Air Spring ComfortFlex. It has far exceeded my expectations for comfort and durability! It has taken almost 15 years for it to wear enough that I'm finally considering replacing it. That's value!

Laying in a hole

The first month was awesome and down hill from that point on. Huge body impressions now and actually intention started in the first month. So bad that it is very noticeable when bed is made or unmade. Wasted so much money but the company said IF they came out and found it to be within what they considered to be normal. It would cost us! Many family arguments over this mattress!

Spring AIr Back Supporter

I had never heard of Spring Air before I purchased one from a local store. IT is an excellent mattress, very supportive, comfortable and a great value compared to the big brands I looked at.

A Mattress You Can Feel Good About

We had a 10 year old Serta that had collapsed in places - we felt like we were sleeping in hammocks. After shopping at 7 stores and lying on dozens of mattresses, we found the Chatham & Wells "Hamilton" at a local Mattress Pro. It is perfect -- really firm and luxurious, and we were really pleased to know it's made in California with high quality materials. It even came with a packet of lavender seeds! Oh, and we got it on sale for half what our next choice would have cost us. Will check back after 6 months but our first few nights on this mattress have been wonderful!
