I've had this bed for 5 years and it has given me more back problems than i had before i started using it. They replaced it once and its still horrible. Its also super hot. Tried a topper and new frame and that didn't even help. I would never recommend it. Serta service was horrible. They claim they want you to be satisfied but they can care less.

Like sleeping in a fluffy hole

We were told this mattress was fine for someone 300 pounds. We didn't realize the place we bought it from had a zero return policy. I was rapidly losing weight. At that point, I was maybe 305 pounds? Boy, that cutoff must be *exactly* 300 pounds because the mattress almost immediately collapsed under my weight. Also, they sold us an adjustable base and this mattress is only comfortable with the proper box springs but we couldn't afford them at that point. We saved for months for this purchase. Now it's 2 years later, I'm 100 pounds lighter but I still wake up crying from the pain. And the sides look like a wave. One side is arched like \ and the other side is arched like \ so when you sit it practically touches the base of the bed on the side where it is permanently about 3 inches adrift from where it should be but curling under my knees. If I sit on the other side where the 3 inches hang over the bed I feel. like I'm going to fall off. It looks like a permanent wave caught still. The worst part, though, is where I guess the coils shift? Because when I lay down I feel like I'm laying on a normal bed. Then when I wake up 2 hours later, I'm pushing myself out of a hole my torso has fallen into. Do NOT buy this mattress. Seriously. I think I'll buy the harmony lux next because I can't afford a 4" purple.

Years of pain-free back complications

I loved this mattress from the second we laid on it. I did not feel one pressure point on any part of my body. I had such horrible back pain, but this mattress has TRULY given me years of pain-free nights. I am searching for another one exactly like it since we have had this since about 2006 or so.

GREAT purchase

We have this mattress on an adjustable bed and once a year we flip it to make it last longer.. VERY COMFORTABLE and not to heavy to turn it for longevity... Has good reaction and stability whenever you move while watching tv or whatever.. I am over 60 and this does NOT make me hot which concerned me!!

Like sleeping on a hammock within few years.

Took delivery of a "silk and snow" hybrid (pocket coils with three gel/memory foam layers on top. Made in Canada, almost half the reg price of "Perfect Day" Looking forward to first good night sleep in a very long time, not counting hotel stays. IMO, buy direct from Canadian mfg, with no retail markups.

Rolling into center of mattress!

I don't believe the good reviews on this mattress type. I'm 64, 5'10", 160 lbs. Had this mattress a little over a year, but it started to sag in the middle around month 8 and now I have to have old pillows stuffed underneath the center of the mattress to hold it up, otherwise I roll down into the middle of it. I've never had a mattresss do this so quickly before and I sleep alone.

Back Pain City for Women on this bed

When we first bought this bed..it felt like heaven. However, after 1 year or 2, I started waking up with back pains. Meanwhile, my husband sleeps like a baby on it. I am a side sleeper and I can feel the coil/spring where my hips are 3 years into owning this mattress. I wanted to return it, however, the retail furniture store that I bought it at had closed and plus we did not buy a mattress protector so, my husbands sweats had stained the mattress. Overall for what we paid, it was not worth it. 6 years in the mattress has a clear dip in the area where my husband sleeps. Now in it's 9 year, I can no longer sleep in it. I now sleep in my son's bedroom where we had a cheap memory foam mattress and I sleep so much better on it.

Went from sleeping in a cloud to a trough in less than 1 yr

Sleeping in Heavenly beds at hotels led me to buy this at Macy’s. However, in approx 10 mo, we both felt the bed sag on each of our sides. Had an inspector come out who takes a string from opposite sides of the bed to measure if there is more than an 1” depression. The problem is unless you’re laying on the mattress, the bed looks normal because the mattress top is still fluffy and looks fine. It is the coils and guts of the bed that was made poorly. The inspector refused to admit there was a problem. We even offered for him to lay on the bed. For the price we paid on our Cal King, it was a horrible investment and one I would definitely not repeat.

Sagging nightmare within 1 year.

Terrible sagging 1 year into ownership. Company would not honor the warranty because they claimed there weren't enough support feet in the bed frame. This is bologna, because that is the same frame they honored a warranty claim for a previous mattress with. The bed is a Rooms2Go wooden frame, with multiple slats and more than 6 posts. I just looked at the tag and couldn't help but notice. It says in capital letters, "THIS MATTRESS IS INTENDED TO BE USED WITHOUT A FOUNDATION." Well... would have been nice to know when the Mattress Firm sales associate told me I needed a box spring to go with it and charged me for it. Honestly, If I had known they were replacing my Caspian foam mattress with a Serta anything, I never would have taken it to begin with. Serta's have always been disappointing and this just proved it again. If you want a mattress to last or if you have back problems, AVOID SERTAS. They don't back up their product and, frankly, neither would I. It's a crap trap. (I do, however, recommend Sealy and its Posturpedic line. They last forever and never sag). And, don't believe everything the sales person says at Mattress Firm. They obviously don't care to know their products and which ones are supposed to have box springs underneath them- they just want the money, honey!
