Already sinking

Our previous mattress had lasted 35 years with no sinking places, and the mattress had always been comfortable. But my wife and I thought it was time for a new one. Unfortunately they don't make mattresses like they used to, but we found one at Original Mattress Factory that seemed good...and it was flipable. After one month, the mattress had sunk in where I sleep, and my back was hurting, and I only weight 165lbs.! I turned it, and a month later it had sunk. So I flipped it. A month later it had sunk and my bawas hurting again. We even tried a few of the foam toppers, but my wife thought they were hot. After turning and flipping the the first position, I folded a sheet so it fit in the round place the mattress had sunk, then put a thin towel along most of my side of the bed. Ii haven't had a problem since, but you would think a mattress wouldn't sink after only a month!!! Seems ridiculous! But you know what they say....they don't make things like they used to!

The store mattresses do not match with what is delivered.

I would not recommend this companies mattresses because the quality of the delivered product is not the same as the mattress in the store. Additionally, The company does not stand behind their product when the customer is dissatisfied, i.e. return for refund. I have never been so disappointed with a company as this who fails at customer service. They attempt to put you through all kinds of gyrations in an effort to exhaust your patience with the idea that the customer will drop their disappointment and request for satisfaction, return for refund. Buyer beware with this company.

Feel different than when tried store. Sink in, sit up to tur

I slept on this mattress about 10 total, I’m now in physical therapy. I’m a transplant patient, I was hoping to get to be able to lay on a soft but yet firm surface, total opposite, I sink in and have difficulty in turning, I have to practically sit up to turn. I weigh 118 lb and sleep alone. The only pro is that it’s cool. That’s it.

Worst experience ever buying bedding. Horrible sales person

Totally mislead by the sales person. This mattress is totally un-sleepable. The sales person I spoke to was rude and constantly interupted when I was speaking. Will never set foot in their stores again and will warn everyone of their tactics when the subjuest comes up. One $800 mistake is enough.

It is not the same bed that you lay on in the store.

This is the second time that I have purchased a mattress from the OMF. The first time I was sure that the bed they delivered was not the bed that I had tried out at the store. Not nearly as soft or as comfortable. The second time my Husband and I chose the softest bed in the store from there main line that you see when you first walk in. This time I am positive that I did not get the same bed. It is just like the one that I was given the first time. In the store, my husband is a big man, the bed was level when he laid on it. When our bed was delivered it sagged terrible around the edge from day one. Sure the beds are great in the store, but at least here in NE OHIO you will not get that same style of bed. There are no PROS this is a rip off company.

Don’t waste your money!!!!

If you are looking for a mattress that is 80 inches long....KEEP LOOKING!!!!!! It was several inches short and when we told Original Mattress they said it was within their tolerance level. My husband is 6’5”, so just a few inches matters in the length of the bed. If you are looking for a bed that maintains it’s memory foam shape.....KEEP LOOKING!!!! Within a few months it began it sag where each of us slept and you had to work hard to get toward the middle, which was the only place that allowed any support. Both of our backs began hurting and we had Original Mattress come out and inspect it. Once again, they said it was within their tolerance level. After 3 years we gave up and purchased a mattress from another company. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM ORIGINAL MATTRESS

Spent over $1,500 on the king size mattress set. After months of struggling to getting acclimated and my back killing me.....we went back up to see what they could do. They gave us some cheap foam top and said to try it. After another coulple month of my back still killing me they said we had to pay a 25% restock fee plus the cost difference to upgrade and another $100 delivery fee for the grand sum of over $750.. Are you kidding me! What ever happened to 100% customer satisfaction. Go to another mattress store where they gaurentee 100% comfort. What happens if I pay the additional $750 return/upgrade and my back still hurts!? This part of the warranty was glossed over “real quick”. We are going somewhere else where they will guarantee comfort for a lifetime. I may pay more in the front end, but will be at ease knowing that another company will guarantee the comfort. This is 2019 not 1960. Read the fine print prior to buying a mattress there.

Foam quality

Don't buy a mattress from this place. We bought a foam $2000 plus mattress and it has no support after just two years. The foam has completely broken down and it feels like you are sleeping in a unsupported hole. When the warranty inspector came they offered no solutions. They said if the visible indentation isn't over 1.5" they won't warranty claim it. The bed has no support so not sure why it matters if it only has 1.3" of dip showing. Most manufacturers have no dip qualifications or under and inch for their warranty. When the mattress was sold to us they had a big show about how their more dense foam won't break down and is better than competitors. That couldn't be further from the truth though! They don't stand behind the comfort either. I recommend staying clear.

Problems since it arrived

This mattress feels very different than the one I tried in the store. It's a king and needed to be folded in half in order to bring it to an upstairs bedroom. There is supposedly a spring in the center of the mattress and I don't know if that's what created a problem, but the center and sides of the mattress feel very different than the area I sleep in. It has felt like a there's a depression since the very first night. Customer service will do nothing for this. I'm very upset I chose to buy from this company.

Comfortable and supportive

Mattress has held up very well, after a move, and pets. We always keep a mattress cover for protection, and after almost 4 years it looks like we just bought it. We are very pleased with it.
