Sides collapse

Do not buy unless you can leap out of bed from lying down to standing. I have had this mattress 5 weeks & have fallen out of bed multiple times because the sides collapse when you swing around from lying position to sitting when getting out of bed. I am medium weight and sides collapse whenever I sit on the edge of the mattress. You are instructed by manufacturer to rotate mattress every 2 weeks. I have done this & all 4 sides collapse. Did I mention warranty is void if you sit on the edge of the mattress? I highly suggest you stay away from Natura.

Disgusted

Had this bed less then 2 years. Both sides have blown out and the springs are making popping noises. The mattress was bought from art van so we had them come out for a warranty check, the inspector said the mattress was absolutely defective and that he would put in the claim. The mattress was un perfect condition as far as cleanliness, no stains etc. but the claim was denied from Natura because the tag was ripped off. So warning to everyone do not believe the warranties this company will find any excuse to void it.

Depression Money

I had high hopes for this, my first new mattress. Was extremely comfortable when new. It's still pretty comfortable, but after only 2.5 years this mattress has developed a 2 inch depression in the center where my upper torso lies. it begins below the pillow and tapers to about an inch where my feet are. I noticed it within a year. I'm 6'2" and weigh 190.

Paid a Fortune for the Worst Mattress I've Ever Owned

I bought this after trying and returning two other mattresses from local companies. Mind you, this return process isn't free - I ended up paying several hundred dollars in return fees. I then started researching mattresses online and found and talked with TheMattressExpert.com He seemed very knowledgeable about mattresses and said that most today are made with memory foam, which is not a good material for the consumer but profitable for the manufacturers because the material breaks down rather quickly. He sold me on this mattress based on my specs (age, weight, back problems, preferences on firmness, etc.). Even though it wasn't returnable, I thought this guy knew what he was talking about and I would be pleased with it. BIG MISTAKE! The most important characteristic I require in a mattress is firmness, but this has a very thick layer of something soft, so that I sink down and my back is not supported at all. I've tried it for a little over 2 weeks to give it a chance, but my back feels worse every day. I'm going to switch it out with my 11-year-old mattress that is still much better than this one. I paid $2,000 for just the mattress (no foundation) and essentially I've thrown my money away. My recommendation to anyone looking for a new mattress is to a) not buy anything unless it's returnable or b) you can try it out in the store first.

Didn’t get the full story

When the mattress was delivered, there was a card attached to it stating “warranty”. I filed it away for possible future use. Two years later, I took it out to see how to resolve the sagging problem. That was the first I heard that we were not to sit on the edge of the bed. Also that it needed to be rotated every two weeks for the first year! I wish they would have put that info in their promotional web posts. So now we have broken down the edge by sitting on it to get dressed. And the mattress sags from body impressions. There is a twenty year warranty, but I don’t want a replacement. I want a mattress that we can sit on and doesn’t need so much handling.

Mattress sagged after 6 mos.

The mattress has a nice dense but soft feel, but the 3" body impression that developed in the middle of the mattress after just a few months has made it impossible to sleep comfortably.

Terrible Purchase

I've had a few mattresses in my time. This one we bought because it was manufactured locally and it was Natural ... topping was bamboo and wool. It's been a terrible mattress. It developed quite quickly into mogels like on a ski hill. Where my husband sleeps is a deep depression followed by a huge hill in the middle and where I sleep is a deep depression. We are not big people. 140 - 150 lbs. I have had terrible back pain and its now coming back to the mattress. Too soon for this mattress to die. Do not buy!! Terrible for your neck/body.

Unacceptable

I purchased this a year ago…The center sags incredibly, and is causing back pain. The retailer no longer carries the brand and won't send anyone out to inspect the mattress. The mattress company sent me all kinds of directions on taking pictures (which meant taking the bed apart---with a bad back), etc. and said if they replaced the mattress I would have to pay the freight. I feel like I have been ripped off by the manufacturer and the retailer (to the tune of $1500!)

So Frustrated

My husband and I purchased this mattress from a local mattress store where the salesman just couldn't rave about it enough. The first omen happened when the mattress was not delivered to us in a timely fashion causing a great deal of inconvenience. We finally agreed to take possession of it six months later. BAD OMEN. But I digress. I have some back issues and needed a mattress with great support, and the salesman was well aware of this fact. However even the first night was uncomfortable. We called the store where my husband was told,"oh, you need to sleep on it for awhile before you get it settled in". Well. "Settled in" means big, deep dips on both sides with a ridge down the middle. How does that happen when we usually "spoon" together in the middle of the bed??? I get restless leg symptoms so bad that I have to get up and either walk around the house, or if that doesn't work, I finally end up on the sofa. My husband sweats so bad, his pajama's are literally soaking wet. I also had told the salesman that I have menopausal related hot flashes and needed a cool mattress. Again, he insisted this was the best choice. My husband was blaming me for his night sweats! After reading the other reviews, at least I know now that I am NOT the culprit here! I honestly dread calling the store because I know I'll get no restitution. The warranty cleverly gives them a loop hole not to stand behind their product. We've been sleeping, or should I say TRYING to sleep on this piece of crap for almost a year now. I weigh 115 and my husband weighs 170. We are not large people here!!! Natura needs to do the right thing here and refund hard earned money to what looks like many unsatisfied customers.

It's like sleeping on a ski slope

I have never had such buyer's remorse about a product I spent so much money on. I did thorough research before buying this mattress and at the time, did not see any negative reviews. Latex mattresses were highly recommended by multiple sources. We have owned this mattress for only 10 months and it's the lumpiest mess I've ever slept on. Within a couple months, it developed deep body impressions on both the soft and the firm sides (it's a dual firm/soft) and a huge hard lump in the middle. If you want to cuddle or have sex, be prepared to ski down a slope to find your partner. You'd think we weighed 400 pounds, but in fact, we are quite a small couple. It is especially lumpy on the firm side because of the way it's constructed to connect the two sides of firmness. Over time, it has definitely gotten worse. When I called regarding the warranty, we encountered the same run-around the other reviewers have described, where there has to be 1 and 1/2 inches of impressions. We were told by the retailer that this is normal wear and tear. How is a lumpy mess normal? My husband, especially, is uncomfortable and experiencing pain from sleeping on this bed. Buyers beware! I would not recommend this mattress under any circumstances.
