This matress was great the first year that we had it. Over the course of the second year a pit has developed in the middle of the bed to th epoint where we have to grab the edge of the mattress to pull ourselves out of bed in the morning. We bought this mattress at Sleepy's and were told recently that they no longer support the mattress warranty. We have tried to file a claim through th emanufacturer but responses are slow and sporadic.

The first 2 or so years it was pretty good support. The 3rd year it became less comfortable. We contacted the company and they said it was naturally going to have the impressions of the way you sleep in it. There was nothing they could do. We also told them since it is specific to our bodies we cannot rotate the mattress & therefore we are always putting our weight in the same spot. This is a very poor design flaw. We should have bought another Sealy Posturepedic, The salesman at Sleepy's was a good salesman he talked us into purchasing the $2,000+ supposedly "better" mattress. Well, it was a HUGE mistake! a 15yr warranty that means NOTHING! I will NEVER go to Sleepy's again! Sadly we told our cousin about Sleep to Live in the first year we owned it and he purchased one also. He is having the same problems we have had. When the bed is made it looks like its a hundred years old with the ridge in the center and the body depressions on each side! So here it is 7yrs into our 15yrs worthless warranty and we are off to purchase another mattress! Lesson learned!

Body impressions after the first year no help from Kingsdown
Their warranty has got to be the worst in the industry. There is no understanding from them. They are in business for the money Not the consumer. Never buy a Kingsdown. If you do have problems, they are not there for you.
Have had mattress 17 months and already sags. I wake up with a headache and back ache every morning because the bed feels like the cushion moves around. This bed makes me feel like I'm upside down and the blood is rushing to the top of my head. I have turned the bed because it can't be flipped over; only rotated from top headboard to bottom headboard. Going through warranty now and am very discouraged by the negative feedback I've seen thus far. Per Kingsdown, service personnel can't lay on bed and can only take pictures. I believe if it were allowed that they could actually lay on bed that it would allow them to understand the many complaints they are receiving.
It seems like this company is ok taking your money but not willing to stand behind their product. Buyer beware!!!!!

Considering the reputation and cost of the Kingsdown king mattress, I expected far more than it has delivered. Initially, it was comfortable, supportive, and I was pleased. But,within a year, it was starting to feel like it was sagging and breaking down. Plus, I am about 220 lbs. and my wife is about 120 so she feels like she is sleeping on a board! Not a good purchase.

I love this mattress and so does everyone who has slept on it. My new husband loves it, and even took a picture of the tag so we can get another for the guest room. After just one night, my friends who slept on it even commented on how comfortable it is.
I used to think that I could ONLY sleep on my back -- but it turns out, with the right mattress, I can sleep in almost any position. It is incredibly comfortable, and maintains excellent softness with plenty of support.

I had originally asked for a firm top but they sold me soft top. But this mattress even though it's Brooklyn type mattress but when you lay down it perfectly supports you and is very comfortable. But I wish the sales person had given me what I asked for.
When purchasing, I asked the salesman if there would be a large change in the middle of the bed since my partners side is much softer. He assured me these were top of the line mattresses and it would never happen. It happened. If I get near the center of the bed, there is a huge drop to the other side. I contacted the store after 2 nights of sleep and they told me I should have purchased a warranty. The offered to sell me another mattress.
