I will not mince words here. Buying a Sleep to Live mattress is a pretty serious investment compared to other stores who get you on a cheap mattress that "feels good". Pair that alongside the other things we spends $1,000s of dollars on... and it isn't so bad when you can change your life the day you receive your mattress.
I purchased a Kingsdown Sleep to Live 9GVL mattress this past March, 2016. I went through the BedMatch system, though while I was skeptical, I can proudly stand here saying that there genuinely is a degree of accuracy on this machine many months later.
I fractured my L4 vertebrae playing baseball in high-school, and have had to be very serious about my recovery and how I care for my back. I slept on a $500 Denver Mattress memory-foam on top of a spring mattress, and will admit I slept pretty "alright". The opportunity opened for me to purchase a Sleep to Live mattress... and WOW.
They do NOT lie when they say there is an "adjustment period". I was told that because your body and spine are not used to being properly supported during your sleep, you might have a couple rough first nights.
My first night... I probably woke up 15 times in a haze of sleep... the next day, my muscles were sore, and I had never felt so exhausted, yet so refreshed at the same time. I actually sensed a different level of energy I had. It was very foreign to me. It took me about 3-5 days to "adjust to my mattress". Other people, it can take several weeks. I get that. We are all different.
Because I purchased a mattress with a 30-year warranty... I was convinced that this purchase was a drop in the ocean price-wise. I would never even think about returning this mattress (even though I cannot) based on the return I receive from this mattress every night.
Purchasing a several thousand-dollar mattress takes some consideration... If you truly find a person who cares about putting you on the right mattress for YOU, then I can say with a high level of assurance, that you will not regret this purchase.
This is the worst bed we ever got in seems like a ride to di
We both feel like rolling out of bed and if you look at us were always on the edge and it looks like rolling out of bed every night to worse matches we ever bought in the most expensive mattress we ever bought I don't know how it got the point she got for all this college studying it did because this is the worst mattress ever inch in his sleep easily give me a big line that it's the best mattress in the world it sucks they did all kinds of night studies on this I don't believe any of it
Kings Down is worst Company ever. Their product and all
Would not wish my worst enemy, if I had one, to have anything to do with Kingstown whatsoever. I'm not sure how anyone in that company can sleep at night. I can however guarantee they probably are not sleeping on a Kings down mattress.
Hands-down by far the worst company I have ever dealt with over anything. They should not even give a warranty because they don't honor any part of their promises . You would think with such a hefty price tag that this mattress would last for years. It's like a Canyon in the center of it . So they sent an inspector out who also agreed on spot during inspection. One week later, we received a letter/email from them (after repeatedly calling now. Keep in mind it took us three months to get anywhere which ultimately has gotten us nowhere) that basically told us to kick rocks .
Purchased mattress based on support and cool sleeping. Very hot and sweaty not as per description on mattress. Very heavy and awkward to turn, should have handles on all sides. Are the mattresses refurbished?

Bought a new mattress in 2016 because my blu-tek polar felt like it was 10 years old, saggy and lack of proper support. When I checked the tag I was surprised that I actually bought it in 2012. For $2500 it should have lasted much longer. Better off buying a cheaper bed more frequently or spending slightly more for a quality mattress. I am big, 6ft4, 240, so I don't expect too much longevity, but for an expensive foam/latex mattress this one just does not cut it.
This mattress was great when we first purchased it. Over time, the two sides we sleep on have sagged and the middle has remained high so theres now a lump in the middle.

This bed felt great when we first bought it and in less than 3 months it started to sag in the middle and I thought I was just imagining it. Well we called the corporate office after 6 months & they sent a bed inspector out. After reviewing his findings, they replaced it for the same mattress as an equal exchange. Figured this couldn't happen twice, well lo and behold, after 2 months we called and complained and the bed inspector came at about 3 months of this new one. They offered an equal exchange or I could get a different bed and they retain $150 and I could buy anything with a special offer. I haven't done anything yet due to the holidays, but I would prefer a refund and try out the Saavta mattress offer online that allows 75 days to try it out or money back guaranteed.
We purchased this bed thinking it would be the answer to our sleeping problems. However after a short period of time we started to notice how we both felt like we were going to roll off the side of the bed. We have this mattress about 3 years now and it has just gotten worse. If you try to roll toward the center of the bed it feels like you have to roll up a mountain. It is the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. As for sex, forget about it. Very disappointed in this mattress for the cost.
