disappointed customer

I bought my mattress at a mattress firm in dfw tx, it was a floor model and I paid $600 for it. It was pretty comfy when I first got it. After a year and 3 months it sinks in the middle and the pillow top has separated in the middle leaving a huge bubble the size of the bottom of a 50 gallon drum. When I asked mattress firm if I could return it they said floor models have no warranty and after talking to corporate and the dfw district mang they agreed that paying that much for a mattress and it being "trash" after only a year and 3 months, there was "nothing they could do". I've always bought simmons beautyrest mattress it, but I'm very disappointed in my purchase and give it one star. A complete rip off.

Not good for side sleepers

I have hadone good and bad experience with matresses, beautyrest was the first I ever had and it was awesome but I do not remember the rest, since thrn, I have pic hazed firm, plushes, but I just get them wring, unfortunately I got this one in clearance and not worth the 1500 spent on it. I sink in, my back hurts, I have to move slowly to getting up, and if I stay on one side, I have imprints on my body and everything aches, I sm only 36 yes old but I wake up like I am 60. The worst

Replaced THREE times!!

Third replacement mattress now has a huge bump in the middle. I have called company 2 times and left messages. No return calls. Tried claim form on line through NFM, does not go through!!! VERY frustrated will never have another mattress from them again.

Best mattress ever, perfect for my back and total comfort

The first time I tried this mattress, I knew I had to have it. It's like sleeping on a cloud. All the mattress-related discomfort I used to feel is history. I've bought it in 2007 and it has maintained its shape, beauty and comfort since then. If you like a firm mattress, this is probably not for you. But if you have back problems and like a mattress that provides support yet has 'give,' this is for you. It amazes me that it has lasted so long and is still provides dreamy comfort and rest. James Bay Recharge

Sorriest bed I ever slept on. It is less than three months old and it has deep impressions in Mattress where your back/body is and it does not spring back. Ashley made me sign a paper stating I could not return bedding I thought it was for health reasons , now I get it ......sorry mattress that I would return if I could. Has thirty year warranty but as soon as I can afford to replace this thing goes to the dump ground!!

Sad and disappointed

Every night when I crawl into bed, my heart sinks at the thought of the disastrous purchase I made. $1000 and this "extra firm" mattress has creaky springs which I feel under my elbows, side, and legs. I have flipped the mattress and it is the same. Not even a year old, and I have not had one good nights sleep. BTW, I am only 5'2" and 135lbs... not a huge, heavy person by any means. Just a sad, disappointed buyer.

My 20 year old mattress was more comfortable

This is the worst mattress I have ever owned. Wake up during the night with hip and back pain. The bed sinks on the side I sleep on feels like sleeping on an air mattress when the air is seeping out. I am so terribly disappointed.. Am in the process now of contacfting Simmons but judging from other complaints I dont expect much justice.

Buyer Beware - Foam Does NOT 'Loosen Up'

If you like a very firm mattress, this is for you! I bought this mattress because I have a very bad lower back - degenerated lumbar disks and need good support. I'm 5'9", 130 lbs. This mattress has a lot of foam on the top above it's firm coils and was very comfortable in the store. I've had this 2 years now and it's never felt like the one in the store. It's VERY FIRM. When I returned to the store w/complaints that this mattress is much firmer than the 'same' one in the store, I was told that the foam would 'loosen up' over time. In the interim, I should remove all the bedding from the bed and walk all over on it w/hard soled shoes to 'loosen up' the foam. The foam has never loosened up and I'm now seeking my 2nd mattress topper which will be 3-4" of soft foam. I will say, the support is there in this bed and it's got no sags in it, but I'm not very big and what weight I do have is spread over the length of the bed w/my height. My hips and shoulders hurt unbearable w/o any sort of topper.

pain, pain and more pain

This was soft and has 'a thousand' coils. It sinks, it's very hot, and it's too hard/quicksand feeling while being 'too soft' on top. So you feel the 'hotdog' sensation of an old mattress from day one. Never had back pain -EVER - before this mattress. It hit the pressure points in my back to the point where I literally jump out of the bed and would rather sleep in a papasan chair.Worst mattress I have ever owned!

got it to replace grand rapids plush

Still too firm... and took forever to get this one after complaining about the grand rapids one... to the salesman that I couldn't sleep at all yhe first three nights... expressed my concerns about it being the wrong one and they postponed twice to getting me this once which is only very slightly softer. ... but nothing uniquely similar to the show room where I was shown the original. ... I must just not agree with this brand. ...
