Buying this mattress was the biggest mistake I've ever made in my entire life. After just 8 months of using this mattress it began sagging so much that it is causing my wife and I severe back pains. We tried working with Mattress Firm and Beauty Rest (Simmons Serta Bedding) on replacing this obviously faulty mattress and they basically told us "too bad, nothing we can do."
Just look at the photos, a $2,000 mattress should never be this deformed after only 8 months of nightly sleeping and we are not big people at all. I submitted a warranty claim on this mattress and within 2 days they said "These are just normal body impressions so there is no claim". Sorry, those are NOT normal body impressions after 8 months. Since we got this mattress we've had nothing but major back pains and have had to visit a chiropractor. We have lost $2,000 on this defective mattress and had to spend another $2,000 on a replacement from a better company. Miraculously, our back pain has disappeared after just a few nights on a WinkBed mattress.
I tried working with BeautyRest on a solution and was willing to give them another chance but they immediately brushed me off and ignored any subsequent emails from me. If you value your body and health DO NOT purchase this horrible mattress. Simmons Serta Bedding, Mattress Firm, and BeautyRest will not stand behind their own products. I bought the mattress in January 2009. It was the mattress that I liked the best in the furniture store that was within my budget. It barely made it to ten years before it got a permanent indentation in the middle. I put up with it that way for a few years. I ended up replacing it with a new Simmons Beautyrest in October 2023 even though I was prejudiced against the company.

Mattress doesn't look like the one we tried out in the store. Looks like a used mattress. Starting to get flat in places owned only one month and 13 days. Very light mattress turnned by myself after one month. My husband and I bought a new one received what looks like a product that has been sent back before, cleanned and resold to use.

Mattress is way too soft with little to no support. It is hot. To me it feels like I'm sleeping in a swampy mess. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone

We purchased a Brittany Lux Platinum Firm mattress in June 2016 and it started sagging in the middle on each side about 3 years ago. I have had chronic sciatica for many years and have finally realized that this mattress has been the cause of many of my very painful tearful mornings. My doc finally told me after 15 PT visits that I should try one of my guest room mattresses. I slept in one for 3 nights and sure enough my sciatic pain has reduced from a 10 to a 3! Guess what? This one wasn’t sagging in the middle! No more Simmons/Beauty Rest mattresses! They barely give you 4 years of restful and supportive sleep.
I called Mattress Firm who wouldn't help with the warranty because I bought it from their outlet inventory. I then called Beauty Rest who essentially said too bad. We don't care that a mattress less than a year old has a huge indentation on the side I sleep on. I am an average size woman. They have had many issues with the mattress model I bought. All I expect is for them to replace it with something of equal cost. They are aware of the manufacturing defect in this model but they still refuse to help.
I purchased this mattress from Mattress Firm. I contacted them and they said I had a warranty on it. I did what they asked me to do and now I still have no resolution. The edge of the mattress has no support when you sit down. I purchased an adjustable base and when I use that I can feel the springs or coils move and make noise. Mattress Firm will not replace the mattress so I am fully disgusted with it. I thought I was purchasing a quality product and now I am stuck with it.
when we were looking for a mattress we decided on the best available: soft pillowtop but medium firm body. so we chose Beautyrest Hotel 5 Diamond CT.
it was great for several months. Then it started compressing in the sleeping position. After 2 years it felt like sleeping in a ditch. Testing compression deflection across the width, it is firm in the center and soft where we sleep. Now we get back and shoulder pains.
