Great for a year, then the support fails

This mattress was great for about the first year. Then the sagging became noticable and its pillow top. So you can't flip it. At this price. This was an extremely disappointing mattress.

Lost all back support in less than 2 years. And overprice.

I bought a FIRM mattress expecting my body to be supported for many years, especially my back. On the promise of a 10 year warranty if unsatisfied. After 1 year already, the mattress sags in the center; I must move to the edge for some comfort. Of course, I roll into the middle once asleep. I wake up every day with a sore back. The mattress is the cause; I have eliminated other factors. For $300-$400, it's vastly overpriced. I can get a very good quality mattress from Amazon for less than that. The store (MatressFirm) told me that 10-year so-called warranty only applies when the sag reaches 1-1/2 in. Basically, the warranty is useless. I must now throw out a 2-year old mattress. Shameful.

Not what I expected

I am a side sleeper and within a week of having this mattress my hips hurt about and hour into sleeping. Tried to exchange with Ashley Furniture within that week and they would not exchange or let me return. I told the salesman I did not want a mattress with memory foam and this is what he suggested. I don't think he knew what he was selling.

Sleeping in a field of dreams

This Simmons Exceptionale pillow top mattress is the best I've ever owned. If the Exceptionale is still around when my current one needs to be replaced...I intend to buy it again. My son has the Queen sized Simmons Exceptionale and he just raves about it. Two mattress winners in the same household...can't beat that!

Buyer Beware

This mattress performed for approximately a year but now has significant sagging when we attempt to sleep. When we are out of the bed the sag measures 1.1 inches so Simmons will not warrant it. We both now have significant back and neck pain to the point we are going to eat the cost and buy a different brand from Costco. Costco will refund money if the customer is unhappy for any reason so we feel safer purchasing from them than a mattress store.

Side sleepers beware

The memory foam layer on this mattress is a joke. You can see you hand impression, but it offers zero support when you lay into the mattress. It provides no pressure relief and quite frankly feels like an overpriced spring mattress. Absolute waste of money, considering its less than 2 years old.

Started as very comfortable, now it is a lumpy mush

We began to file a warranty claim a year ago and found that being honest about very minor stains (even though we used a good mattress protector) stopped the who process of our claim. I highly recommend not being honest (against my own beliefs) and just turning in the claim will serve the best.

Ok what you pay for it

First 60 days I was very comfortable to sleep on mattress and suddenly it sink, my back and neck start to bother me , can’t sleep from pain , time to call warranty office and resolve this problem.

Worst Mattress I've ever owned, Most I've ever Paid

Within 8 months one part of the mattress began to feel lower, like it was sagging. My wife said it was my imagination, but after a couple painful months of sleep, we turned the bed and she began to feel it too. It has continued to get worse, to the point where we "roll up" to one side. Finally filed a warranty complaint. Frame is perfect, box spring looks like new, mattress has a 2" hole that drops even worse when there is weight on it. So far no luck getting Simmons to do anything about it. DO NOT BUY!
