when i tested it at the store, it oddly felt firm enough. after a few days of receiving it, it feels like a sponge and the store has been anything but helpful. I am used to a firm feel, am even okay with a medium firm feel. But this one is simply bad. If you like the soft and i do mean sinking soft, go for this.
This is one of the worst and i have basically lost this money in the process as i cannot sleep on this bed. Do NOT buy it if you are looking for anything even remotely firm.

This mattress is everything we could ask for. Perfect body comfort..great side construction making it very comfortable to lay at the edge of the bed. I am buying another one for our winter home.

This mattress was quite comfortable for the first 1-2 months that I had it. My husband says he still likes it but I definitely have strong buyers regret. In the short time that I’ve owned it I just can’t believe how much it has CHANGED. First of all, it doesn’t bounce back to flat after I change positions, EVEN after I get up to use the bathroom. It gets a large and deep depression where my lower back and hips rest, which makes it quite difficult to get comfortable when I lie back down on it. But worst of all I wake up with a really sore lower back. I am not exaggerating when I say that I feel as if I’ve been sleeping in a bad hammock. I’m incredibly disappointed, and frustrated by the memory I have of the Beautyrest mattresses I had back in the days before memory foam, when a great mattress could be purchased for far less than $1,000.

I always wanted a brand new bed ,and a bed I'd be the first person to sleep on .a king size bed given me plenty space and comfort The first couple weeks best sleep ever then shortly after my neck and shoulder was in pain and i switch back to old pillow and trying sleep 8n different positions nothing was working. I removed bed covering and measuring the dips , finding that my side was 3 inches below edge on my side and 2 inches of dip on my wife's side. Called Sears to get exchanged for different model altogether but refused to with out restocking fees.,.so i argued with management of sears and nothing.,.contact Simons beautyrest and i was sent back to sears for same consideration as before none.,.so a year later still on same bed i sleep on middle hip in center bed.,.i hope to afford a quality product the next time I can purchase the bed of my dreams .,. Beautyrest silver high tide pillow top is a ongoing nightmare from hell.,.

Very saggy, for the $ I expected more. Company not helpful
I am expected so much more for $2000.00. I contacted the Co and they told me to go to the store. I did and their fix was for us to buy a new mattress for $1600.00. Will never own another Simmons product and will encourage others to stay away as well.

This was my first mattress purchase over $1500. I had a Stern’s and Foster years ago, hated it. Changed to a sleep number, didn’t like it either. So I shot for the moon with a high end beauty rest and it was a definite miss. It felt to me about like an $800 mattress. I tend to get hot at night, so the black ice feature was a big selling point. And that was a miserable fail. It provides no more cooling than any average unit. Started to sink in after a year. Warranty Dept was abhorrent. I just said I’m done, lesson learned and never buy this brand again. I sold it (for a large loss) and moved on to a memory foam mattress that was less than 1/5th the cost that sleeps better, stays cooler and provides better support.

I have always had low back pain and so has my husband. Since this mattress (have owned for 8 months), I now have upper back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, low back pain and have difficulty straightening when I wake up. This has been the worst mattress ever! We were hoping this would be a good mattress, but nope. And I really dont even want another simmons or beauty rest due to this experience.
