We purchased the Pure Latex Bliss 'Nature' model. At the store, it seemed perfect. At home, it's just too firm.
The bed feels great for the first hour or two. But, once you get past that amount of time, it feels too firm on the shoulders and hips. So, you wake up, and have to roll over to get relief. It's just not very good sleep when your bed causes discomfort that wakes you up every 2 or 3 hours forcing you to roll over.
There are three other people who wrote reviews here that had the same experience as we did: the 'Nature' model seemed perfect in the store, but turned out to be too firm once they had it at home.
Don't think that you'll be able to correctly judge if a mattress is right for you based on the limited amount of time you'll be able to spend on it in the store. The recommendation (everywhere) is to take your time testing out a bed, but, there are limits. Other customers would like to try the bed also, but they can't if you're laying on it for hours at a time. We spent 45 minutes lying on the bed, in the store. It felt great. So great, that we weren't concerned that the store's policy was not to allow any returns or exchanges. That turned out to be a big mistake.
After we tried to adjust to the bed for 5 weeks, we went back to the store to explain the problem we were having and to see what options there might be to make the bed more comfortable. They suggested we add a mattress topper. For reasons I won't go into here (involving my physical disability) that option just doesn't work well for us.
I also contacted Michelle in Pure Latex Bliss customer care. I explained the problem, and the reasons why we can't use the mattress topper solution. She responded that she contacted the store, but found the same answer we did - no returns or exchanges, and she had no further suggestions.
I think the Pure Latex Bliss line is a good product. The company offers different configurations. And while we spent a fair amount of time trying the "Nature" model, in the end it just isn't comfortable.
We made two mistakes. We bought the wrong model, and we bought it at store that won't allow an exchange or upgrade. So now, we're stuck with an expensive bed that we find uncomfortable. My advice: Don't buy any bed, of any brand, at a retailer that won't allow you to exchange it if you're unhappy with it. This review is for Pure LatexBliss Nature
