A hill in the middle

This king size bed with soft on 1 side & firm on the other side has been a disaster as a high rise developed in the middle. We now have to buy another mattress.

Love my 800!

Got our Sleep to Live mattress at our local Art Van in Michigan. We took the test amd was impressed that it wasn't just a weight machine. I wanted a good quality mattress and based off comfort pick we kept going back to the 800. My husband has been sleeping better and not tossing and turning like before so we are HAPPY with our choice!

Sleep to live 7gl

Couldn’t be happier. Sleeping like a baby. Only downside was the price! But I guess it’s worth it. My Tempur-Pedic slept so hot this bed sleeps so much cooler it is amazing. Sleep to live makes a great bed. I let my friends try it out when they come over!

Bob mills sleep to live not recommended

purchased from bob mills. They did their bed match and we used that as guideline to pick bed. We chose the 10 which is most expensive bed. Had it for about 6 weeks of the worst sleep we have ever experienced. Went back to bobmills and they did exchange for the 9 which is more of a memory foam. After 3 months both me and my wife wake up with pain in shoulders and hip areas. This company makes awful mattresses. Do not buy one. Stick with Tempur-Pedic or one of the online mattresses that has easy return policy’s and actually knows how to build a mattress.

Ridge in middle of bed, worthless warranty

The first 2 or so years it was pretty good support. The 3rd year it became less comfortable. We contacted the company and they said it was naturally going to have the impressions of the way you sleep in it. There was nothing they could do. We also told them since it is specific to our bodies we cannot rotate the mattress & therefore we are always putting our weight in the same spot. This is a very poor design flaw. We should have bought another Sealy Posturepedic, The salesman at Sleepy's was a good salesman he talked us into purchasing the $2,000+ supposedly "better" mattress. Well, it was a HUGE mistake! a 15yr warranty that means NOTHING! I will NEVER go to Sleepy's again! Sadly we told our cousin about Sleep to Live in the first year we owned it and he purchased one also. He is having the same problems we have had. When the bed is made it looks like its a hundred years old with the ridge in the center and the body depressions on each side! So here it is 7yrs into our 15yrs worthless warranty and we are off to purchase another mattress! Lesson learned!

dual hardness tan/blue

When purchasing, I asked the salesman if there would be a large change in the middle of the bed since my partners side is much softer. He assured me these were top of the line mattresses and it would never happen. It happened. If I get near the center of the bed, there is a huge drop to the other side. I contacted the store after 2 nights of sleep and they told me I should have purchased a warranty. The offered to sell me another mattress.

An investment which will change your life...

I will not mince words here. Buying a Sleep to Live mattress is a pretty serious investment compared to other stores who get you on a cheap mattress that "feels good". Pair that alongside the other things we spends $1,000s of dollars on... and it isn't so bad when you can change your life the day you receive your mattress. I purchased a Kingsdown Sleep to Live 9GVL mattress this past March, 2016. I went through the BedMatch system, though while I was skeptical, I can proudly stand here saying that there genuinely is a degree of accuracy on this machine many months later. I fractured my L4 vertebrae playing baseball in high-school, and have had to be very serious about my recovery and how I care for my back. I slept on a $500 Denver Mattress memory-foam on top of a spring mattress, and will admit I slept pretty "alright". The opportunity opened for me to purchase a Sleep to Live mattress... and WOW. They do NOT lie when they say there is an "adjustment period". I was told that because your body and spine are not used to being properly supported during your sleep, you might have a couple rough first nights. My first night... I probably woke up 15 times in a haze of sleep... the next day, my muscles were sore, and I had never felt so exhausted, yet so refreshed at the same time. I actually sensed a different level of energy I had. It was very foreign to me. It took me about 3-5 days to "adjust to my mattress". Other people, it can take several weeks. I get that. We are all different. Because I purchased a mattress with a 30-year warranty... I was convinced that this purchase was a drop in the ocean price-wise. I would never even think about returning this mattress (even though I cannot) based on the return I receive from this mattress every night. Purchasing a several thousand-dollar mattress takes some consideration... If you truly find a person who cares about putting you on the right mattress for YOU, then I can say with a high level of assurance, that you will not regret this purchase.

Worst buy I ever made, it was a $ 8,000.00 mistake.

Don't trust the in store computer sleep surface diagnostic test. The printout said my wife needed a Med. Firm (Blue) I needed a Extra Firm (Red). Bob Mills could provide this dual surface requirement in multiple sizes, but none are kept in stock. We ordered a Cal. King with the surfaces listed on the store printout along with the other items required by the store to validate the factor warranty and the 90 day store sleep guarantee. After trying to sleeping on the mattress for several weeks it remains very uncomfortable for both me and my wife. Last week we when back to the Bob Mills store we bought it at to activate the store 90 days sleep guarantee. The sales manager told us that the guarantee didn't cover custom orders nor did they stand behind the surface diagnostic. Don't fall for their TV commercial where Bob Mills says "We got your back" it seems Bob only has your "back pocket" in mind.

Stay far away from this line!!!!

The bed seems great when you first get it, but quickly stops working the way is says it should. Five years in and the sides are broken down and it sagging everywhere. Purchased this bed because it was more expensive, suppossed to be of excellent quality and longevity, but has sadly disappointed me. My previous cheap mattress that I slept on a lot longer held up better and is still in better shape than this one. Hope the warranty works for me. However, really don't want a replacement from Kingsdown. Would rather get money back and purchase a different brand.
