Fantastic bed when new but disappointing over time...

For the first 5 years, this bed was everything I had hoped it would be: just right in the areas of warmth, softness/firmness, comfort... Great for side-sleeping and no discomfort on my hips or back. But, as mentioned, it began to sag in the middle after only 5 years. Sleeping with a partner began to be problematic as both of us would slide towards the center. However, it remained comfortable enough to sleep on until 7-8 years. As do most people, I waited too long to replace it (began to have hip pain) and should have done so earlier. It was a very expensive set to purchase and the bed being a Stearns and Foster, I had thought that it would preform much better over time. I will not purchase Stearns and Foster again because of my experience. I will also say that I will never buy a bed again from raymour and flannigan, MA. Slick salespeople who misinform people about their products.

They don't stand behind their product

Bed has no support on one side - submitted a claim - they denied - we were told they would replace if product is damaged - they really don't care

S & F Lily Rose- Like sleeping in a valley

We have been very disappointed with the Sterns & Foster Lily Rose mattress. We notice the sagging less than a year after we got it (I only weigh 115 lbs). it is like sleeping in a valley. I would not recommend this mattress. It is very expensive and you cannot move around on the bed. If you do, you fall back into the same position. My last mattress was in the house for nearly 20 years and we never had a problem. It kept it shape. This looks awful when you walk into the room too! You can see the large sags in the mattress.

Worst bed I've slept on in 60 years !!

I have never slept on a worse bed ! The thinest most uncomfortable hospital bed is preferable to this. I was literally waking up in tears every morning from the back and hip pain. You couldn't PAY me to spend another night on this piece of garbage.

Sorry they no longer make this type of bed.. a little pricey

Worth the price in the long run, we exchanged another brand for this bed and have been very happy with it. We have an Eastern King size and no matter how you try to get around it you need two boxsprings for this size and you feel that center firmness where the frame supports the boxsprings in the middle of the actual mattress. It is foam and can get slightly warm but I use an electric blanket topped by a quilt so maybe I should use less covers.

Great Mattress, Great Store

Earl was very helpful in the store and not at all pushy. He is knowledgeable and made the shopping and buying experience great. I highly recommend Mattress King in Muskogee and love this Stearns and Foster Mattress!

Buyer beware $$$ - You will not get what you paid for

My husband and I spent $2800 on a luxury (pillow top) firm mattress and box-springs after spending 25 min the first time then over 40 min lying in the bed in the showroom. The stitching is beautiful the materials look like quality on the outside with easy hold handles all around. They had a 90-day guarantee so we used it for over 60 days before we felt that the pillow-top was probably to soft and the shipping crease defect in the upper 1/3 was a problem. So we traded it in for the lux firm which is the next model down and did not complain considering the price of the lower model was $2000 that day. We were then told by American Signature if we had a problem with this new mattress it would be our problem, not theirs. Well, sad to say, after 3 months it is our problem. Immediately, we were no happier than the bed prior. This one was firmer but still falls in the middle. When we initially lie down it is very comfortable - just the bed we are looking for. After 5 hours it sinks to the point where sleeping more is a painful experience. Sometimes stuffing a pillow under my side (since I am a side sleeper) helps but then it feels too bulky. The same is true for my husband who is a back sleeper. This expensive bed is barely marginally better than the cheap beds we have purchased. It is certainly not worth the expense we paid. We are sleeping in the guest bedroom now until we find a new mattress.

This is a great bed so far.

When my wife and I first purchased our bed we went with the lily rose which was an awesome bed, our salesman said we were purchasing the Cadillac of beds. When our new bed arrived a few days later, the Cadillac Escalade of beds was delivered so we kinda have this bed by accident, we didn't realize at first because the two looked similar But after sleeping on the Ava Rose we realized this one is way better. We've only had our new bed for a week now but we haven't had a bad nights sleep, we wake up fully rested and refreshed and I have nothing bad to say about this mattress, it's perfect for us!

NO Heaven Way too soft TOO HOT

Purchased at the Brick. Highly suggested from sales. rep. for me for my fibromyalgia. I went away from the coil mattress thinking there may be breakdown with coils lifting up through the foam. She geared me to all foam. Told me it will conform and give me much more pain relief. I find it very difficult to get out of bed d/t being too soft. My body sinks too much into the mattress causing more pain. The temperature of the foam is quite hot at night..there is not enough flow of air. We had a gel mattress prior and sent it back it just made a hole of your body imprint high in the middle and body imprint on other side. Now the Brick states: they will not replace another mattress d/t already having an replaced and now we have to go the Foster & Stern. Why should a customer have to do that.. Is that customer service? I have left 5 voice mail messages to the manager at the brick with no return OR he is busy with a customer. Now what do I have to do start a big war to receive customer satisfaction. DO NOT PURCHASE STERNS & FOSTER !
