No. Just no.

I spent $1000 on a spring air mattress expecting it to help me sleep better and last LONGER THAN A FEW MONTHS.I've tried to have them replace it but they tell me that almost an inch sagging in the middle is normal body impression after only A FEW MONTHS. They told me the frame was defective (missing a few screws) and that could be why there's sagging. I had the people deliver a new frame to replace the "old" one, they tell me there's nothing wrong with the frame. The drivers could see the sagging just by looking at the mattress. Mattresses are supposed to last years. This one lasted a few months. Customer service and quality control are nowhere to be found with this company. They shouldn't even exist.

Irene, we apologize for your bad experience; however the guidelines are set up to ensure a warranty problem has occurred. What is the model that you purchased from mattress discounters?

Spring Air Back Supporter

I received this bed as a gift. I absolutely love it. I have had back problems for the past 2 years since my car accident and every bed I've had, was not supportive leading me to either have more back pain or a horrible nights sleep. I've only had the bed for a few days but I can 110% tell you that it has made the last few nights sleep the best sleep I've had in such a long time. I have not woken up once because of any pain in my back and I have been breathing better as well. I will be recommending my friends and family to this brand mattress because of the quality and the comfort level it gives me. Thank you to my friend that gave this bed to me!!! It has been the best present yet.

Air Spring Infinity Gemini Mattress

The very worst mattress I have ever slept on. From the third night onward. In two years over a 3" sag on both sides. Was finally able to purchase new mattresses. I have never looked more forward to getting rid of something in my life.

DON'T BUY IT!!!!

We received our first Spring Air Queen Midnight Trance mattress and box spring on 10/23/13. 2 days later when I made the bed, I noticed there were "dips" on both sides of the mattress where my husband and I sleep and a "mound" in the center. I pulled everything off the bed and ran my hand over the depressions and it was not my imagination. I thought that the depressions would rise after an hour or two since we had just gotten up. They didn't. I took photos of the mattress and visited the salesman where we purchased it and he was very surprised. About an hour later, CS from the store called me and agreed to exchange the mattress for a new one. The new one was delivered on 11/5/13. After a couple of days, I again noticed a slight depression and as the days went by they got deeper. I did a string test and the dips are just slightly less than 1 inch (after 3 weeks). My husband and I are not large people and there is NO reason for this type of depression in a mattress after 3 weeks. Our previous mattress was 7 years old and in better condition when we got rid of it to downsize from King to Queen. Customer Service told me that since the depressions were less than 1 1/2 inches, this was not a defect. We obviously have different definitions of "defect." Today I am returning to the store to invoke the 30 day comfort return policy and will purchase a good brand this time. Unfortunately, I may have to pay a return fee and shipping on the new mattress. I intend to make sure everyone I know hears about this company, through Facebook, Twitter, My Space and every other avenue available to me.

Will never buy another brand...this one is wonderful!!!

We've had this bed for 9 years now with everyday use. I've slept in just about every other kind of high-end bed in luxury hotels, etc., and not one of those beds has been as refreshing and comfortable to me as the C&W. I can't wait to crawl in at night and wake up refreshed and pain free every morning. (I'm 60 years old and 260 pounds, so I've got some aches here and there and am heavy for beds.) Never any aches and pains in the mornings though...this bed couldn't be better for tired muscles and joints! Even at my weight, this bed has held up to 95% of its original solidity after 9 years. We're building a retirement home in another state and I'm already shopping for more C&W beds. I'm sorry about you other disappointed folks, but this boy is a believer!

terrible mattress, would NOT recommend

We spend 4-6 months in our RV, so this mattress has NOT been slept in for a full 4 yrs.; however, it looks like a mattress that is at least 20 yrs old. Very uncomfortable, stiff and sore in the morning. We are getting rid of this mattress, money down the drain.

Most comfortable bed I've ever owned!!

My Back Supporter had been passed down to me from family member but she hardly ever slept on it so it was in excellent condition. I'm a side sleeper & it conformed perfectly to my body! I had it for several years & it was just as comfortable as the first day I slept on it. I eventually needed to upgrade to a king size bed after getting married but couldn't find anyone selling Spring Air in my area so I chose a Simmons Beautyrest....ugh, it was awful! Since that time I've tried memory foam & other brands & I have yet to find the comfort that I got with my Spring Air. That bed literally spoiled me to the point where I'm a bed snob! I'm going back to a Spring Air Back Supporter if I have to have it shipped cross country & will never change to another brand again.

best in the world

I really don't understand why others have had such problems. This mattress will never need to be replaced. Of course it is an extra firm. There is ABSOLUTELY no evidence of usage in the 10 years we've used it for the master bdrm. I did buy it knowing it would last forever due to being individually hand tied and extra firm. I bought a plush topping which we've also used for 10 yrs. It does show some indentation where we both sleep, but not enough to have replaced it yet. I would never buy another mattress than Chatham and Wells. The sales person in San Francisco showed us what it looked like on the inside. A work of beauty. One thing I DO KNOW for a fqact is that one should never never buy tempurpedic or anything like it. Form anything will not hold up and you'll be replacing it in very short order.

Joint pain reliever

This was the only mattress I have found that relieves my joint pain. I'm a side sleeper, but have hip and lower back pain. No more waking up sore! I've had this bed since 2005 and am as pleased with it as the first day I received it. We're switching from a queen to a king bed and the mattress will be another Spring Air. Wouldn't buy any other kind after waking up with no pain.

Spent $1K to end up sleeping on my couch

12 days after purchasing this bed, I had it exchanged (during store warranty period) as the bed was actually trying to swallow me. I could lay on the bed and eventually, I sunk in so low, I couldn't turn over without reaching for the edge or my headboard frame and pulling myself up and out of the hole my body had created. The exchanged bed came with only the remaining two days of the original store warranty which gave me no time to actually experience it but it seemed to be OK. During the following three weeks, I once again began to drop into the sink hole each and every night until I gave up and began sleeping on a 10 year old couch which sags but seems much more comfortable than this expensive mistake. I've called warranty and now I wait to see what their response will be. After reading so many complaints and finding the BBB has graded Spring Air a "F", I can only pray and believe they will do right by me and refund my money. One can believe right! $1K to sleep on an old sofa....something is not right with this picture.
